Roma ha i suoi pilastri: c'è San Pietro, c'è il Campidoglio, c'è il Colosseo...e poi c'è Coso. Coso chi? Ma come chi....Coso....praticamente se sei un romano lo conosci già da tempo e magari se c'hai un attimo da aspettare o sei fortunato, ti fermi e hai le tue certezze....se sei invece un turista, volente o nolente, il passaparola arriva pure a te...anche perché in zona sono tutti a consigliarlo. Un buon ristorante? Di più. Un posto alla moda? Di meno. Un locale perfetto: ecco, questa è la definizione...se non fosse per gli spazi (un po' risicati, devo ammetterlo, ma questo da sempre eh...ancor prima che servisse fuori) qui mangi bene, sei servito velocemente, paghi il giusto e te ne vai via soddisfatto....Nato e cresciuto con i due titolari che lo gestiscono è un ristorantino che accontenta tutti, a due passi da Via del Corso e dietro il Parlamento. Cosa ti da questa certezza? Non c'è impiegato, tutore dell'ordine, commesso, maestranza, libero professionista (e a volte anche qualche politico e qualche celebrity, NdR) che non venga qui....e se ci trovi a mangiare il magistrato come l'operaio un motivo ci sarà...ed è che si mangia benissimo. Dopo una infinità di tempo che non tornavo e dopo tante rinunce perché ero troppo di fretta ho rinunciato al buffet di un convegno e sono venuto qui...inutile dire che mi sono alzato con la pancia piena e un sorriso a girocollo. Purtroppo i lavori di ristrutturazione del palazzo un po' penalizzano il dehor e i tavoli fuori sono un po' sacrificati ma resta la sala interna al piano sopra se uno vuole. Che ho preso? Le immancabili chips cacio e pepe (una loro idea, uniche, squisite e irrinunciabili), spaghetti alla carbonara, caprese con crema chantilly, acqua e caffè...porzioni abbondantissime e gusti ben separati e tipici della cucina fatta ad arte (un consiglio? Provate la pasta ripiena fatta al momento...chiedete "la pasta di Alessandra"). Ma ho visto passare uno zuccotto che sembrava un tortino in crosta di patate con cuore di carbonara....e devo tornare per provarlo....così come uno splendido tagliere dove ci trovi sopra salumi, formaggi e fritti (le crescentine, gnocchi fritti...ideona!!). Se vedete un po' di fila non temete, provate a chiedere...i ragazzi che servono ai tavoli vanno a ruota ma sono sempre gentili e disponibili e accontentano tutti....e se siete gentili verrete ripagati con altrettanta gentilezza. Ci sarà un motivo se è sempre pieno, giorno e notte, la gente aspetta quei cinque, dieci minuti senza cercare altrove e ci torna....praticamente un must per chi si trova in zona e sono molti quelli che "allungano" per venire qui. Ora con gli aperitivi poi non ha un momento di tregua. Vi spoilero un segreto: so per certo che usano solo ed esclusivamente ingredienti di qualità (il guanciale di Amatrice, le uova toscane, la pasta di Gragnano e la carne fornita dal miglior macellaio del Centro, tanto per dirne alcune) quindi non solo mangi bene e mangi buono ma mangi anche di qualità.
