Wow, what a beautiful delicious surprise found in Rome Italy!!! 🇮🇹
Don’t know where to start, I purchased 4 different pizzas to get a full experience of what the flavor ranges are like, non disappointed 🤗.
I enjoyed the zucchini flowers, porcini mushrooms, tomatoes and mozzarella pizza first, the crisp on it was delicious ☺️ I could tell they use quality ingredients. It set the bar high.
I then enjoyed the smoked salmon straccietello with zucchini and mozzarella 🥳, as a person who has salmon in different variations often I thoroughly enjoyed that they chose the smoked salmon to pair with the other ingredients. Yum yum! I was able to taste that the mozzarella was aged mozzarella (best kind) in this pizza the most.
Thirdly I enjoyed the Pomodoro Alici that has cherry tomato’s, anchovies and mozzarella. Soooo I love anchovies, these did not disappoint 😋, if you’ve never had anchovies this is a great way to try it as it keeps its flavor profile but not confrontational as some I’ve had before.
Petra (pronounced Pet-ra) was such a beautiful person ☺️, she explained in detail ingredients, pizza process making, about the pizzeria start, anything I asked her really.
She asked me if I would like to try the Pumpkin, smoked provolone and bacon, I was happy to indulge, I’m one of those people who eat pumpkin year round. Never had it on pizza I must say, such a surprising delight. It’s subtle with the provolone being smoked and I mean bacon always becomes the star. This pizza won the world championship of this particular cut of pizza (small square typical Roma sliced)
Out of all of them the anchovies tomatoe pizza was my favorite, but I wouldn’t hesitate eating any of them again.
I felt like I was Italian family with Petra, Andres and Mario 🇮🇹🤗💯.
They are closed in August until first week in September so just be aware of that. They have only been opened since January but I’m expecting they will have many more locations in the near future.
This experience has solidified what I always believed, I’m Italiana 😍 all, I mean my name...

Quaint little pizzeria with tons of different flavors/toppings which are very unusual but super interesting and delicious too! We were fortunate to meet the very friendly owner; she’s so cool, jolly and her good high energy is infectious! 😊 According to her everyday they change the flavors/toppings of their pizza; i think this is a very good strategy so that it will not be tiring to eat same pizza everyday! 😅 Their dough is also very special, it is naturally fermented/rested for 72 hrs and they only use olive oil in their pizza.
Everything that we ordered IS GOOD! I specially LOVE the dough/crust! It’s fluffy crunchy and smells soooo GOOOD!
We would like to go back and try other favors. She was recommending to us one of the flavors that won the best pizza! We will definitely be back for that!
We ordered the ff:
Smoked Salmon Zucchini Stracciatella Speck Buffalo Mozzarella Cherry Tomatoes Spicy Salami Mozzarella Tomato Sauce Prosciutto with Figs Cappucino

Read moreWooowwww!!!! Spizzicaroma is not just a stop for pizza, it’s a true Roman experience. We had just arrived in Rome, and the very first bite of their pizza al taglio reminded us why this city is so magical. The dough—light, airy, yet full of flavor—carries toppings that taste like they were chosen one by one with love. Every ingredient shines on its own, yet blends perfectly into a harmony of flavors.
What truly sets this place apart is the owner. His kindness, his warm smile, and the visible passion in the way he talks about and serves his food transform a simple meal into a memory. You don’t just eat here—you feel the heart of Rome in every slice.
Spizzicaroma is the kind of place that makes you fall in love with pizza all over again. We left not only full but touched by the authenticity and soul behind it. Absolutely...
