Enofficina — Restaurant in Rome

Fantastic experience, I attended with my colleague following a mishap relating to an electric scooter, staff were very knowledgeable on food and incredibly inviting.

We ordered cocktails which were made fresh in front of us and were both of a high standard, we also were invited to charge our phones which we took full advantage of.

We ordered a meat platter and were advised that we would benefit from also purchasing a toast board and mozzarella and tomato balls, it was clearly communicated this would cost more and did not feel like an insincere upsell.

Upon the meat platter, toast board and mozzarella being served, a staff member stood with us and spoke to us about the origin of each meat and the process of it's preparation, we were also advised on the order of enjoying the food for the best experience. The staff member was very knowledgeable and we felt in good hands.

The food was phenomenal and I wish we could have stayed for more but unfortunately there were other time constraints on our holiday schedule.

If I was to return to Italy on holiday again, my stay would not be complete without a visit here and I would suggest neither would yours.

The 'colleague' here: To me this was the most exceptional hospitaly experience so far in Rome. The staff really made us feel like locals and were so very welcoming. Would love to go back there for a whole evening if...

We were overcharged by €16, I told them when I was paying that we had already paid for a Campari spritz and a glass of red wine, and they told me that it’s not their fault that they didn’t keep tabs on our table. I had already paid at this point and they didn’t offer a refund. Besides this, we were having a nice time and outside, not being very loud when the waiters told us to be quiet because we were too loud. We were the only small group of 6 in an outside section separated from the main area and on the street in the heavy rain. We needed to speak louder to hear each other during the storm. There was one other couple in this outside area and I am sure they could not hear each other speak because of the heavy thundering rain outside. We were insulted by this but we decided not to comment, however, when we were overcharged, and told them about this, they ignored us and said it was not their responsibility to keep tabs on their own tables, after asking us for a tip. I had high hopes for this place but after being overcharged, insulted, and told there was no resolution for their mistake, I would not recommend this...

We went there yesterday, we didn’t reserve a table on the terrace but the waiters told us that we could seat on the terrace because the reservation was for 20pm and we were there around 6pm. The waiters were instantly kind and we did not wait that much to order and to be served. We had some delicious snacks offered by the bar. The staff was very friendly and did not rushed us at all to order or to finish our drinks. We payed around 7€ per person, the spritz was really good and i recommend the beer from Turin was great. We had a really good time. You can book a table if you want to take more time there or eat there but we stayed for about one hour and a half.
