Gelateria Sweet Life — Restaurant in Rome

Response to owner September 2024: Sir, your wife is super nice which we both agree on, buy I couldn't say the same about you and your comment. You're not the only artisanal gelato shop in Rome and we did not compare you to the shops that sell artificially flavored ice creams. Actually I could say that some of your gelatos have quite and artificial looking colors... When it comes to your fruit gelatos, I suggest you use ripe fruits. Biscoff you commented is of course by itself a sweet gelato, but I was discussing the intensity of flavor, not the sweetness of the ice cream. And anyways, this was our opinion to our taste. Someone else might like your gelatos. But with your comment, you show your unprofessional approach to costumers and rudeness.

First review from July 2024: Went there cause of 4.9 reviews here on Google. Service was excellent, the woman working there was obviously tired after hours of non stop work, but still patient and kind, giving each person to try the flavors before buying. Unfortunately when it comes to ice cream, it didn't live to our expectations. It was nice but not as good as some other gelato shops here in Rome. Definitely not 4.9... Best gelato in Italy, period! My new husband and I had 13 gelatos in Rome and Florence for the past 6 days. No joke with the amount of gelatos we had as we had to seek for the best gelato in Italy. We’re from Sydney and it’s hard to get an all natural flavoured sorbet which is fruity and for the soft creamy textured gelato.

You can tell that they care about their product and put thought into each gelato they scoop for their customers. The flavours are extremely natural and the sorbet has the best fruit content I have ever had in a gelato. Family owned and third generation gelato maker. Will be coming here every day for the rest of my stay in Rome! It’s also extremely well priced compared to nearby options. My husband said it’s the best among the 13 gelatos, with the best customer service- the owner explained where the flavours are from- I had to get a footage of it!!...
