La Cuccuma, Mangiare a Roma, Paninoteca, Roma, Ristorante Roma, Pizzeria Roma — Restaurant in Rome

Okay. So, I have been in this "food" place in the beginning of December 2023, it has been almost 8 months, and from time to time I remember this experience and I get mad at myself for not leaving a comment, it was the worst fish that I have ever had, it made me question if Italy is in the sea coast or not, and if fish are actually edible food or not. Here is the short 3 folded comment: Food: (Fish) Bad smell, awful taste, should have been jailed for its texture Service: MICROWAVE. Atmosphere: It looked like one of these football cafe's where bunch of masc came together, sweats, screams, and watches their small screen game.

We went there just because it was very close to our hostel, but you, please don't make the same mistake.

We happily stumbled across this charming restaurant one evening whilst taking an evening stroll. It looked so inviting that we took a chance and went in. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel so welcome. We ordered the Calzoni Verdura Mozzarella and the Riccioli Rustici. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The Mozzarella used in both dishes was delicious. The only sad part of our evening was that it was the last night of our visit to Rome! If we had found this jewel of a restaurant on the first night of our stay we would have been back every night to sample all the menu! The prices were fantastic! Beautiful lasagna, beautiful cheese and tomato and basil flavour. Easy to get a table to dine alfresco Pizza sausage was so so

Edit : Since then, have eaten here another 3 times and love the "menu" meaning set. 1 pasta 1 meat and 1 veg for 12 euro. (But sometimes it isn't heated up enough but I just ask them to heat it up more)

Anything creamy here is great. Risotto wasn't nice. We're eating the lasagna and the beers every time and it's fabulous. Even vegetarian lasagna.
