Good idea, HORRENDOUS execution...I can see why people have left such bad reviews regarding the service, but to be honest it deserves a 2-3 stars for service, the food on the other hand deserves a -5 stars and a refund of your money and then some just to make up for the crime committed against your taste buds. Where to begin? Bruschetta is burnt on the edges and soggy (to the point of breaking) in the center, the tomatoes were soggy and grainy, and it lacked anything that could be considered flavor (unless "burnt" is what they were going for). We also ordered a foccacia, which ended up being basically stale pieces of thin bread (very pita like) with a variety of old cuts of meat and a very questionable cheese. The honey on the cheese, I must say, was quite tasty. The gnocchis were frozen and reheated in a microwave as they were chewier than bubble gum and the sauce was far from homemade. I ordered the 4 cheese sauce and instead I got Chef Boyardee Alfredo sauce with a bit of cheese thrown into it. There was so much sauce on the plate it looked like a soup. This was one of our most expensive meals, close to €50 for food that was barely able to be classified as such. Go literally down the road to much much much better places like Divin Ostilia, Grammo, Luzzi...Just about any place would be better, those 3 are ones I'd recommend for near the Colosseo.

Read so you don't have to go through what I had: We should have left the place as soon as we asked for recommendations and the waiter responded annoyed and rudely, not answering the questions. But we were tired and wanted to have some good Italian food, so we ordered 3 dishes and a cocktail drink. The quality of the food was not worth a penny: Gnocchi al pesto were horrible with some cheap store bought sauce, Carbonara pasta was soaking in scrambled eggs with too little cheese and guanciale was not even well done, not crunchy, very bland and underseasoned. Caccio e pepe, an emblematic dish of Rome was also bland, with only a slight smell of peccorino and a soggy sauce. On top a miserably failed attempt of a piña colada with who knows what poor ingredients was made. An overall disgraceful experience confirmed by the fact that 2 other customers also complained and one of them even returned his dish. The cook should seriously reconsider his call. The only nice person who treated us with respect at this place was a young man who was not Italian who recruited us to come in. For a first timer in Rome places like this leave a very bad impression.

One star because there isn't a no star options. Where to begin... We (my family and I) were hurried to ask for our food as we were only given a couple minutes until the first waiter came to ask our order. We told her we needed more time, only for her to come back another couple minutes later. By the time we were ready to order, a second waiter came to take our order, looking very pressured and exasperated. Not long after he left, came yet another waiter, this one was very rude and angry as she came to our table and just said what do you want. We told her we already ordered, but she was adamant to take it. We ordered again. When we received our food the salad we asked for was only lettuce, it didn't have any of the mushrooms, dressings or vegetables it was supposed to come with, just plain stale lettuce. We asked to have it rearranged and the second waiter exhaled and turned his eyes and snatched the plate from the table. Once he came back he brought with himself some fries, put them on our table and we said we didn't ask for them. He took them back only to have them brought back not even a minuted later by yet a fourth waiter (although this one was kind). Again we insisted we didn't ask for them. Once again they were taken back and once again the third waiter came back and violently tossed the fries on our table. She screamed at us saying we ordered them to her. We were left perplexed by this as we had never been directly disrespected on a restaurant. By the time we finished our food we were fuming as we saw she wasn't a waiter, she was the manager!!!! We didn't even touch the fries and when we later headed to counter the manager was billing us for the fries. We said we didn't order them and she just laughed and said "oh no fries hahaha". Worst restaurant I've been to my whole life, I really don't understand how they can remain open while having such a disrespectul and plain rude manager who, besides not knowing how to take a simple order, also looks like an absolute fool in her managerial skills, needing four different people attend every single table when the restaurant wasn't even half full. Absolutely horrendous, I'd rather buy a pizza from Domino's or Pizza Hut before...

Myself and a group of 5 other girlfriends walked past and were happy with their set menu for the set price, aswell as the aircon sign as we had been walking around in the heat and were very hungry. We went in, got squeezed into a tiny area where other diners had to stand up to let us fit into our seats. The aircon was on but barely made a difference. One of us asked before ordering if we can pay singley by card before ordering, and the answer was yes. We order, barely touch our food (honestly I could’ve done better myself), and decide to head on our way. Suddenly we are not allowed to pay singley on our card, and we have to pay all together. Half of us didn’t have cash. The staff were extremely rude and arrogant and said the girl who asked (for all of us) is the only one allowed to pay seperate by card and the rest of us have to pay the bill all together. It was so frustrating and ended up being a case of who owes who money for what mediocre food we now regret buying.

Oh, and ofcoarse the tip was included as a service charge in the bill because no way would they get any tips treating their patrons like they do.

I do not recommend this place Food 1/10 Service -10/10 Aircon 3/10 Menu options 3/10 Comfortability 1/10 Overall experience 1/10

Their reply to this exact comment on trip advisor: Nobody ask that you can pay seperatly, you are a very boring and rude person so it’s not important for us your judgement we always are kind with our client but you and your friends are very very rude people

Honestly, my review was slightly sugar coated, I didn’t go into detail of the worst parts. Just do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to dine. The only positive this place has for it, is it’s location. If it weren’t right near the colleseum it wouldn’t have guests to serve because they’re...

At first we thought the place was going to be fun... not really. the margeritta (drink) i ordered was undrinkable. my boyfriend ordered apple smoothie but it didnt come when they brought us food, so we reminded a waitress we ordered it. 5 minutes later she still didnt bring it, and there were not that many people around and 4 waitresses. after that i reminded her again. after another 10 minutes, when we finished our meal (nice clam sautee was the only positive thing about my experience there) apple smoothie arrived... but it was not apple smoothie, but an apple milkshake. I don't know if the person who designed the menu had any idea as to what a smoothie is, but my man could not drink it as he is lactose intolerant! we decided to pay asap but it wasnt that easy. the waitresses just decided avoiding looking at us. after we managed to catch one's attention she said 'ok' and just continued to stand there talking with another waitress, doing nothing. some minutes later we were seriously annoyed, so we asked again if we could pay, waving the credit card. the girl brought us a receipt (3 euro just for them serving us??? they dont deserve anything) and walked off again. i hoped she's gonna bring the terminal. but no. I sat there killing the staff with my eyes holding a credit card next to my face for over 10 minutes. i was being totally ignored. i finally stood up and asked the girl if they want us to pay or not, and she said 'ehh calm down, you can go pay inside!' as if she was the pissed off one. how dare i demand service? we would be probably staying overnight there since nobody would bother to tell us you pay inside. worst service...
