Terrific place! My date and I highly enjoyed coming here, and we both liked the food. I ordered an insalata caprese, and he had a pastry roll. Both were very good, but for me the atmosphere of the bistrot was fantastic! I would say the only problem with it is the location: it's on a terribly busy and noisy street in Rome, and the view is nothing to be desired. It's not the cheapest place in town - but then again what is in Rome? I think it would behove the staff to learn English (as I noticed other patrons who do not speak Italian were having difficulty communicating with the waiters), considering it is Rome and a very touristy city. However, all that aside, I do recommend the bistrot, and would go again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!

We stopped over here for a small tea break . Running low on energy, so we popped in to this little cafe . Looked cute from the outside . We ordered fresh orange juice and some biscuit and orange little cup cake thing . Orange juice I HIGHLY recommend . Very small glass but definitely tasty and super fresh and sweet and juicy . The cake and pastries where also nice too . To my supervise I thought the exposing of cigarettes was illegal because it was an EU rule but I don’t think it is because these cigarettes where exposed to everyone to see and buy . So I guess only in UK we have this law . We also rested , charged our phones . However please note there are no toilets in this cafe . Otherwise nice little stop over place .

great, easygoing, positive hangout… good atmosphere created by the waiters and other staff. everyone is happy to be there and it creates a fun environment. people of all demographics found here. food, pastries, and drinks are all very good. open 24 hours and still manages to maintain a perfect atmosphere, no matter if you’re there for an early breakfast & cappuccino or a late night drink or pastry… the platter pictured is a must when having dinner. our favorite casual place to stop when exploring Rome

Horrible experience, got sat down at the same time as another group of 2, they got told they could sit anywhere in Italian, where as I was told to take a table of two, that wasn’t a problem but I should have known straight away that there was something wrong with this place, the server then proceed to grab some menus after 10 minutes of us waiting; and I thought to myself ok here we go, went past us and straight to the table that got sat down at the same time as us, didn’t even acknowledge my table, and then went to chit chat with her colleagues; we waited another 3 minutes and she went past my table once again to give an ashtray to the table that was sat down at the same time as mine and couldn’t even bother to grab 2 menus and while walking past us numerous times just put them down; don’t know if it was because she didn’t speak English but just dropping a menu at the table isn’t hard nor does it require words to be exchanged, got up and left; hope they realise their mistakes and teach their staff to at least give a menu to tables that have been sat down for a period of time, and definitely don’t treat people different just because they don’t live locally. Wouldn’t recommend going here, plenty of other places better than this joke of an...

After a long day of site seeing, my wife and I stopped here for dinner. I was close and convenient to our hotel, so it was the perfect choice. They were busy, but no wait. We were shown 3 open tables immediately upon entering. The server was quick to come over and take our drink orders and then to return for our food orders. They were busy, but our food came out quickly. My chicken poke bowl (chicken, rice, tomato, cucumber, soy bean and sesame sauce bowl was AMAZING! It was 14 Euros and filled me up; I’m a pretty big eater! Everything was great. I appreciated the fact that I have a pretty strict diet due to heart issues, but I was able to find a heart healthy option here. There was some hip hop-ish music playing a bit loud that I totally could have done without, but they did have a pretty large crowd of younger patrons there that I’m sure the music is on to target. It just didn’t fit the rest of the vibe and wasn’t something these 50-something year olds want to listen to while eating, but we’d definitely go...

My insalata nizza, called the Eiffel here, was good enough with ample tuna and eggs, and fresh lettuces and carrots. The accompanying bread was tasty, too, and the pastas at nearby tables looked good and were scarfed down quickly by those who ordered them. Though they serve all kinds of coffees and bar drinks, the only tea they would offer was the canned peach or lemon flavored kind. Memo to management: neither the concept nor the creation of fresh brewed iced tea is that hard, especially when the customer is willing to do it himself at the table. They allow smoking here, and people take full advantage of it. Watch out for the occassional stray pigeon, too, but the parting shot was the waiter's refusal to take a Visa because the E13,00 bill "was too small." Since I doubt I'll return, I guess I'll never know what they consider a sufficiently...
