Ouzerì — Restaurant in Rome

Had an overall lovely evening with decent Greek food and enjoyable live music. It is a bit odd because technically it is the “Greek Italian club of Rome” so you need to join by submitting a card, but was free and easy so no big deal. Additionally, we arrived and rang the bell at the locked door, but no one answered. 20 min and a WhatsApp message later, the owner let us know he was on his way. So, about 15 min after our reservation time we were finally seated. The owner was especially welcoming and friendly. However, we were charged 4 euro per person for the “concert” (which we were not informed of when making our reservation, only upon arrival via a small note on the table). Additionally there was a two euro “seating” fee on top of this. The service was spotty at best and our leftover plates sat on our table for over an hour and were never cleared, even while other tables were. We never received on item we ordered and brought us and charged us for a larger wine than asked for (when we clarified twice). They definitely prioritized certain tables over others. Overall food was decent and price was okay, but the little things make it so I likely would not recommend...

If you really love Greek food, it's right place for you, despite the limited menu I can say they really managed it well to serve you the essential and delicious Greek dishes. There is one big problem about this place, it's small and it has about 20 seat. At 20:30 it's full so you have to wait untill 22:00 - 22:30 and with 30% of chance to get in, once you're inside the waiter will come and announce you that the kitchen is closing in 15 minutes, so you have to hurry and choose something as...

A really good Greek restaurant with a really pleasant owner ready to introduce you every platter and explain you how to subscribe to the cultural association. All food was good although a bit pricey, unfortunately our experience was a bit disrupted by the lengthy wait that resulted in cold meat that had to be returned to the kitchen. We will go back in the future to give it another chance, just be mindful that they play live music that would overshadow any...
