Porto Quadro ristorante — Restaurant in Rome

Food is exquisite! The details on each dish are so well thought, each one is made to perfection, and offers the diner a new experience of flavours. You got to come here with a lot of patience though. This is a small place and each dish takes quite a long time to prepare. But it also gives you time to digest and you end up feeling more full (as the dishes are small). Service was great, friendly and attentive, even though there is only one server. We had the pinot noir to drink, which was wonderul. To eat we had the carpaccio (of amberjack instead of tuna) - it was so good I was almost tempted to order more. Also the refreshing dish of "octopus in summer", then the ravioli tuna and the squid-ink pasta, which were both combining so many different flavours! Then we had the steamed cod panzanelle which was the best cod dish I've ever had! So delicate, and worked fantastic with the rest of the dish. We also had the calamari, which was good but to me was the least impressive dish. In the beginning we were also served a basket of delicious sourdough bread and a basket of thin crackers, and that was great to munch on as we were...

this was by far the best restaurant and food experience in my life. I love Italian food and this is a restaurant where you can eat modern Italian dishes.

Everything was extremely well done and just in terms of the balance of flavors and tastes. If we ever come back to Rome, we will be happy to go back. The Chef Lorenzo is doing an incredible job in the kitchen. Alessandro the waiter is so friendly and absolutely helpful.

I can highly recommend this restaurant and the Spaghetti with the Pistachio-Pesto.. this is an absolutely stunning combination!

Se você está aberto à experiências e aceita a comida italiana de forma contemporânea este restaurante é super indicado. Tenho ido sozinha e ver as expressões de cada um dos clientes é um deleite. Maestrado por dois irmãos (não tenho certeza, mas desconfio) você é atendido com sorriso, educação e devoção (acho que está palavra se encaixa bem para a dupla). A comida é excepcional, bons vinhos e ambiente pequeno e agradável. A música de acordo para desfrutar de tudo. Antes do sabor, poder ver (e até fotografar) o empratamento feito com delicadeza e cores; é um espetáculo a parte, em seguida não esqueça de sentir o perfume, seu ofalto vai agradecer e por fim o melhor; os diversos sabores em cada porção levada a boca, seu paladar agradece. A alquimia é uma das qualidade presente nas criações deste chef. Vale a pena. Não sou uma pessoa que frequenta restaurantes sofisticados e estrelas Michelin, mas posso dizer que tenho boas oportunidades e acredite; é um lugar especial. Volto sempre !!! Como os pratos são servidos de 'forma francesa' para aqueles que gostam de 'bons' (em relação à quantidade) talvez deixe a desejar. A conta será mais 'salgada' se decidir experimentar várias opções,, SIM vale cada euro pago. Se prepare, porque é difícil de escolher. Não tenho certeza, mas penso que se habilitam a fazer um menu degustação surpresa, não sei se à um preço fixo, tenho certeza que as escolhas para você serão perfeitas.
