PRATI Rione Gastronomico — Restaurant in Rome

This restaurant is new, opened in 2020. It was my first time visting PRATI Rione Gastronomico and I had an excellent experience. The restaurant faces Piazza G. Mazzini in Prati and vastly spacious inside. Even under the current COVID situation, I felt safe as there was enough space among tables and easily keep distance from other visitors. Gastronomy-wise, I really enjoyed the freshness of food material and their unique choice in wines and a good selection of extra virgin olive oils from different regeons from Italy to match their different dish. Also from the point of view of customer service. Staff were attentive and cordial. The good atmosphere, good food, good drinks and good service. It has been a nice tastey late lunch in each sense. I definitely come back there soon :) p.s. This restaurant became our favorite place in Rome! We came here every day, and every time we were welcomed like old friends. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive.

A special thank you to our wonderful waiter Emanuele — his care, friendliness, and great sense of humor made every visit feel truly special. We were treated to delicious food, generously offered, and everything was full of flavor and made with love.

I celebrated my birthday here, and it was absolutely unforgettable — so much warmth, joy, and thoughtful attention from the team!

A cena con amici un sabato sera e il locale si presenta bene anche se il bar all'inizio con tramezzini, torte e paste, dà un'impressione "riduttiva" sulle capacità di ristorazione di qualità. La prima, distratta, impressione è di un bar con annessa tavola calda... In realtà la qualità dei cibi è alta, i prezzi da menù corretti, in alcuni casi bassi, le porzioni non particolarmente abbondanti, il servizio attento e disponibile anche se non c'è stato neanche offerto il pane. A voler cercar il "capello" la scelta di piatti non è particolarmente abbondante. Però tre punti mi hanno lasciato perplesso. Il primo il prezzo delle tartare di manzo con una guarnizione, da 14 a 17 euro. Ne ho presa una e anche se non era filetto di fassona o di chianina, era buona, fresca, tagliata al coltello. Praticamente al prezzo di un primo. Mi pare evidente le differenze di costi di materia prima all'origine. Il secondo punto è la richiesta della ricevuta che ti dovrebbe essere rilasciata dopo il pagamento senza richiederla. Pratica nata per evitare di pagare tasse senza incassare il corrispettivo. Nel nostro caso, il conto anonimo l'abbiamo diviso alla "romana", ognuno ha pagato la sua parte in contanti o con carta, ma la ricevuta non si è vista... Allora l'ho chiesta esplicitamente... e cosa mi è arrivato?? La ricevuta della mia sola parte... E quella degli altri??? ADIOS....!! Terzo punto che, spero, sia stato una svista e non voluta. Il conto totale li per li mi è sembrato alto, ma non ho visto nella ricevuta anonima particolari errori. A casa ho rifatto il conto con il loro menù trovato in una delivery e la differenza in più era di 15 euro sul totale. O sono stati aggiunti 3 euro a persona come coperto, ma non mi ricordo che fosse previsto nel menù e, comunque, 3 euro senza il pane mi sembra una rapina oppure è un errore, spero in buona fede.
