The name on the restaurant and menu is Ristorante Montebello, not Steak House, so don’t look for that name. They serve a number of Roman Italian dishes besides steak. However, I was in the mood for steak and ordered the Bistecca alla Bismark, which was a 1/2” thick steak cooked medium (as ordered) with two fried eggs on top. The steak was good with no bristle and had a good consistency and texture, but not a prime steak so not juicy. However, the runny yolks from the eggs enhanced it’s flavor & juciness. I got the zucchini flower appetizer, which had a thick deep-fried batter (I did not know about that in advance). I would skip it. The house wine was good and inexpensive. Read moreA little hidden gem. This ristorante offers a more traditional menu, less pasta and pizza, more fish and meat. Really nice to see bruschetta offered with more than just tomato (I had brushetta with crushed olives, very nice). Minestrone soup also very good (big portion, plan accordingly if you intend to have a number of course). Italian sausage and roast potatoes to follow, very nice indeed! House red wine, very drinkable (I'm not a somelier, but I thought it complimented the dishes very well). Overall, a nice, comfortable place to have some nice food in a less...
