Rosemunda's: The Undisputed King of Pizza al Taglio in Rome

Hands down, Rosemunda's delivers the best pizza al taglio experience I have had in Rome. This is not just good pizza—it is a mandatory stop for anyone visiting the city who appreciates true quality and flavor.

The secret to their success lies in the foundation: the crust. It is a true masterpiece—a perfect, crunchy yet wonderfully airy and fluffy focaccia-style base. This exquisite texture provides a sublime canvas for their toppings, which feature high-quality ingredients that create a truly flavorful and memorable pizza eating experience. Every bite demonstrates a clear dedication to craft and ingredient sourcing.

Beyond the pizza, the supplì are also simply delicious. We tried both the classic and the cacio e pepe versions. While both were excellent, the cacio e pepe supplì was the clear favorite, demonstrating creativity and flawless execution of a Roman classic in fried form.

My advice is simple: Skip other al taglio pizza places and make Rosemunda's a priority to try. It sets the bar incredibly high and is an experience you won't...

Carbonara and carbonara pizza (€3 -by weight) here is amazing. I'm guessing the other pizzas would be great too. The pastas are only €5 for a good portion. The lasagna (€6) was only so-so though. Everything else we tried were delicious especially for the price. Nice environment for a quick bite. Theres even a port for you to charge your devices. The staff were really nice. One of the waitresses highlighted and circled our map of all the must see destinations in Rome, even those we never would know if not for a local telling us. She was amazing because we visited the places that she recommended and we were not disappointed. She didnt have to waste so much time on us but she was so kind. Visit this place if...

AVOID IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGIES!! We informed the two servers my partner has a severe allergy to eggs & nuts (in English & Italian). They assured us only one pizza contains eggs & nuts, so we ordered a selection of pizzas, one of them contained pesto & partner started to feel a reaction straight away. We asked again if the pesto contained any nuts or eggs, they assured us it was only pine nuts (she's okay with pine nuts), we then asked to check ingredients and the pesto package ingredients in bold says it contains eggs &...

We were looking for a local place to grab some pizza en route to Piazza Navona and headed here after seeing it was highly rated online. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, they even gave us a couple of extra pizza slices for free which we weren’t expecting. The pizzas themselves were very well priced and tasty. Would highly recommend this place for a budget friendly takeaway (there is also an option to dine in too).
