Very pleasant restaurant with friendly and attentive staff.

I booked this place for dinner via "The Fork" app with 30% off the food only,

Prices are pretty expensive but it is a touristy area (Spanish steps).

For example, the very small Burrata starter was good but not worth 13eur in my mind.

The Beef tartare was more filling and special but 18eur is the cost of a primi.

For mains, we had the lasagna (16eur) which was excellent but not hot (just warm, but it was ok).

A glass of red wine was 9eur and although we didn't have it - Aperol spritz was 10eur (where I live in Rome it's around 5-6).

The bread that came with the coperto (cover charge) wasn't very fresh.

The atmosphere is very cosy and the service was good as well.

Overall a very nice experience but I would recommend to come only if you have the discount, otherwise it's expensive (hence the 4 starts and not...

Pleasantly surprised by this small new place on via sistina between top of spanish steps and piazza barberini. In a city with a lot of similar food options Sistina 52 stand out with a focused menu where the chef is actually cooking. What i mean is that many of the usual suspects are just repeating the typical roman themes and not really innovating or even thinking - of course why fix what’s not broken? but here the quality of the ingredients are very good and the cheap actually prepares them in delicious ways and it doesn’t feel or taste like everything else you are in Rome! we had the lobster fettuccini and it was great as was the BBQ Chicken and ricotta tart dessert. staff was very friendly and atmosphere good! highly recommend. ps this was our last meal in rome/italy after 3 weeks and...

A fantastic spot!! This small restaurant right in the center of Rome was a pleasant surprise with its unique dishes! Honestly, it’s been a long time since I struggled so much deciding what to order because I wanted to try so many things!

In the end, everything was delicious, and we’ll definitely be back :)

I highly recommend trying the salty cheesecake—it’s an incredible combination! And I must give a special mention to the Pavlova dessert. The crispy meringue and cream were outstanding! I haven’t had this dessert in ages, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu here.

And I can’t help but mention the very friendly and lovely staff :)

Simply 100/10! Highly...

Sistina 52 – A Perfect First Taste of Rome As first-time visitors to Rome, we couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our first sit-down meal. Sistina 52 immediately won us over with its retro-modern design. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making us feel instantly at home without being overbearing. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite felt like an introduction to the heart of Italian cooking — simple, fresh, and beautifully presented. Sistina 52 is more than just a restaurant; it’s a vibe — a welcoming space where design, service, and flavor come together effortlessly. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for a special first meal in Rome.
