I usually don't waste time on a review, even if I'm disappointed with the place, but here I have to share my experience. The portions are small, the food is of average quality and very salty - price for one person 60-90€ without alcohol, for what?? 🤯 The service is 1/5 for politeness, -4 for absolute tactlessness and inattention. I was told that they give bread for first gifts or sell, as usually happens in €€€€ places, but I refused and explained that I don't eat bread. In 2 minutes they brought me bread 👏👏👏 while the waitress looks at me strangely and is surprised her, ok. They brought a menu but without drink cards, right, why carry them when the prices for a simple soda are 12 €, this is at least 2 times more than on any terrace with a view of the city or the Colosseum. I can afford it for 100 euros, but when the status of the place is not such a low class. Even though I booked a room with a view of the city at night, my girlfriend and I sat with a view of people enjoying the view of the city. Cancellation booking -50€ per person, -100€ per two, keep in mind. And of course 15% of the cost is a tip, it is included in the bill how you can see in photo, but before paying you will be asked whether you want to leave this option or not. Thank you for asking, but what should I want to leave at least 1 cent for? Terrible, only this place in Rome where I am disappointed, but really so bad? They position themselves as a restaurant where *Dress code: smart casual or you will not be allowed in, but they themselves do not correspond to the category of "restaurant". You do not deserve to have my retro frozen Jordans there, so why should I wear my Ferragamo crocodile loafers? Crocodile with me will be sad here :(((. A commercial organization - yes, but not a restaurant. At the end, when I asked for the bill, I was told that I did not want dessert. They brought me grapes and some small desserts anyway. I say we don’t want it and from this the waitress exclaimed that it was a free gift. Maybe if I refuse the offer to order dessert and ask for the check, I do not want to eat sweets, and I want to leave? Thank you for your attention, but it should be included at least in the basic things, not when it’s too much… I'm afraid to imagine the quality and attitude towards guests of the "Hotel de la Ville" in which this...

Yesterday I had lunch with a friend at this restaurant. The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely, but some members of the staff clearly need retraining in customer service.
After lunch, we asked for the bill. Since I had already been here before, I knew that adding a service charge is not mandatory in Italy and should be at the customer’s discretion.
However, the waitress quickly grabbed the bill and entered the amount including a tip without asking us — about €25 on a €150 bill.
When I objected and asked why she didn’t check with us first, she just replied, “People usually say yes,” and walked away without offering any alternative.
So, check your bill carefully before paying, and don’t hesitate to say no or ask for any unauthorized service charges to be removed. Charging extra for service without the customer’s knowledge is...
Read moreWe went based on the reviews here, and all the amazing videos on social media. We felt absolutely duped. The food was good, and service were great mind you, but we were there for the atmosphere. However, we booked for "brunch" and it was simply lunch. Not one "brunch-like" option on the menu. The rooftop with the umbrellas was closed due to the extreme heat...ok, ok, I'll give them a pass here, but we received an email morning of that specified a specific dresscode. No shorts, etc, etc, etc. So, we dressed accordingly in the ridiculous heat, only to show up and everyone there looked like they just rolled out of bed. What we expected vs. what we received just didn't match up. Lots of better rooftop options in Rome in my opinion. Maybe it's better in the spring and fall...
