Important: this restaurant has new owners running it, most of the reviews here are for the place, that was there before. This one has nothing to do with it!
We stumbled over this place by coincidence, because we were in the vincinity to see the sights by night. As we got hungry, we checked their menu and the prices seemed really fair. The waiter in front was super friendly and did not try to offensively talk us into eating there. This felt nice and welcoming. It felt genuine.
The place itself is nicely furnished and had a good atmosphere inside. Once the food came, we were really positively surprised. The menu is not huge, but features a lot of local staples. We had the salted cod and the Melanzane alla Parmigiana, as well as two starters. The quality of the meals was great, everything felt freshly made and had nice flavors. The white wine sold by glass was also of good quality and properly cooled.
Given the location, I would even say the whole dinner was cheap, given the quality of the food and drinks we had.
Definitely a recommendation!
The only little suggestion I'd give is this: Rethink the music for the inside area. The place feels so classy and nice with the new interior, it would profit a lot, if the music matches that vibe and...

Read moreThe salt in the food made us feel like we’d been shipwrecked and forced to drink seawater.
Four of us visited here in May 2025 as part of an extensive tour of Italy.
The restaurant is amazingly modern, the service and staff were great, the view is incredible, but the food was terrible.
We all skipped lunch in anticipation for our meal here.
The starters were very bland and had no flavour. We all ordered pasta dishes for our main course. Two of our main courses were too salty to eat. Our mouths were burning after a few bites. The other two were very bland.
The food was so bad we were unable to eat the food despite skipping lunch.
When we complained about the saltiness the manager tasted all of the food.
We were told that the two extremely salty pasta dishes were normal for the region. And we got a 30% discount for the two bland dishes.
During our trip we visited a number of extraordinary places and ate in a variety of excellent restaurants. Sadly I’m not able to recommend this one, as the food left us needing to drink water rather than more wine.
We paid, left, and went to a different restaurant to finish...
