Amazing food! Just how I imagined Italian food should be -- homey, comforting, and unpretentious, no gimmicks, just great food made with simple but quality ingredients. We had their pesto and bass. The pasta was so good we thought we'd try their carbonara and it didn't disappoint. I don't normally eat fish, but their bass was fresh and cooked well, didn't have a lot of seasoning (which was a good thing btw as you can really taste the fish). Read moreWe didn't try the food so I can’t really comment about that. We entered the restaurant to be greated by the grumpiest most uninterested old fella I've ever encountered in my life! And that takes some doing. We where taken to our table and sat for 15 minutes without any acknowledgement whatsoever.. so we left and walked past the grumpy guy said we where leaving and he shrugged his shoulders. If you want a a nice friendly restaurant try La bruschetta, how they have worse reviews...

We had the tomato caprese, and it was a fresh start for a late lunch. The linguini with pesto was amazing and just what we wanted. The penne arrabiata was perfect - not too spicy but enough to be “angry”. The homemade lasagna was perfectly made and just the right size.
