ViMi Ristorante — Restaurant in Rome

My husband and I were looking for a good place to eat. Unfortunately, all the good restaurants with high rating were closed, so we decided to go to the local place without check 'cause we were really hungry. They served pizza, vegetable soup, and grilled vegetables. I didn't really enjoy any of it. Everything was really fat, vegetables contained a lot of oil, the same with pizza, but it's not why I'm writing this review. Grilled vegetables looked fine, but underneath white mushrooms were completely burned pepper and eggplant. We asked a waitress not to count this salad in our bill or we can pay at least a half amount for this as half or even more vegetables were left because they were black and completely spoiled. She started arguing with us and for her the vegetables looked fine. We're ended up hungry and ashamed, it wasn't really a question of money, we usually pay more and order a dessert after in more reputable restaurants, it was bad service (the waitresse's behaviour was unacceptable), smelly, disgusting,and dirty toilet. Next time I will definitely read the reviews before going anywhere, I saw a lot of negatives, I regret I hadn't read...

Ate here 3 times in 4 days, only because there was a day trip to Tuscany in the middle, otherwise it would have been 4 times...

Food here is authentic Italian and reasonably priced, so if that's what you're looking for, you've found it...

Bruschetta was different to what I'm used to, but I recognise that I'm used to Australian Fusion Italian. Gnocchi is amazing, Ravioli is next level, Margarita pizza delicious, Eggs Benedict scrumptious, Vegetable omelette mwah! Cannot fault the food...

The first time we ate here was New Years Eve, it's understandable the service was a little distracted, but a couple of times I was made to feel a little inadequate, this happened the next day aswell with another Server, hence 4 stars for service instead of 5. The only other negative is opening times. The menu states breakfast is 9-12, however they didn't open till 10.

But aside from that, this is 100% my go to place for breakfast lunch or...

ViMi Place offered a mixed experience. On the positive side, we had a wonderful waitress who really made our visit enjoyable. She spoke Spanish, was super attentive, and made everything easy for us. Her kindness shone through, especially when she surprised my child with a free piece of cake for his birthday—a sweet gesture that added a special touch to our visit.

The food was also impressive. The burger was delicious, and both the ViMi rice bowl and pizza were excellent choices.

However, the experience was marred by another waitress who was quite rude and clearly not suited for the job. Additionally, the place was uncomfortably hot, as the air conditioning wasn’t working well, which isn’t ideal, especially in the summer.

Overall, the good service from our waitress and tasty food made the visit worthwhile, but the heat and the unfriendly staff member were...
