I had a strong craving for Asian food after travelling in Italy for almost a week so I was happy to see there's a Malaysian-Chinese restaurant nearby. The restaurant seems to be run by a Malaysian Chinese family but the food is in no way authentic. As someone from Asia who eats authentic Asian food literally every day, the laksa noodles and the tom yum soup were nothing like what you eat in Asia. They were spicy enough but something's wrong with the way they cooked the food. They just didn't taste like laksa and tom yum at all. And seriously, they cooked laksa with udon??? No way! And they didn't even provide chopsticks! I know they have to localize the way they run their business to cater to the Italian clientele but at least prepare some chopsticks to create a more authentic experience! Also, the interior of the restaurant was not up to par given how much they charge their customers. Not only that, there were also lots of mosquitoes inside the eatery and it's annoying to feel their presence around your limbs throughout the meal.

Very nice Malaysian/Thai/Chinese restaurant in San Saba/Aventino. There is a standard menu and specials which you should definitely check out. Note that most dishes are family-style servings on platters, but some individual dishes like soups and starters. Highly recommend the pink grapefruit salad (savory, sweet and sour), the chicken wrapped in leaves (earthy and charred), dragon fruit fried rice (it's pink and sweet), and the chicken green curry (spicy), and the chicken skewers. Maybe give a miss to the spring rolls (plain cabbage filling) and the har how shrimp dumplings (handmade well but bland).

I just came here for the food… and it did not disappoint! Of course it’s not the same as cuisines straight from Malaysia but it’s still comforting nonetheless. Tried all three different types of chicken curry and it was great- you’d just have to order the white rice separately. Overall environment’s quite nice and service was excellent; The food came out quick! Thank you to the whole team that manages this little restaurant because it’s not easy to make some of these dishes👏

The food is very delicious and dine in was beautifully presented. Takeaway is slow, service felt like the order was a chore and not welcome during busy lunch hour, takeaway packaging and cutlery needs improving. My soup spilt because it was in a plastic bag with a shallow bowl and i was not given a spoon. I was not even warned to be careful. Please use flat bottomed paper bag so food does not spill and appropriate package ie deep cup as in other takeaway all over the world, for soups and offer a spoon. I would rather pay more for a good package. If you can't provide the right package for soup please just say that is not available...
