We had really bad service here.

This isn't an over reaction. I go to many places to have coffee and/or have gelato. I hardly give any businesses 1-star reviews because I feel that most of the time it isn't a fair representation of the way they run their businesses.

The place is run by unfriendly and generally harassed looking staff. They are unable to provide any more than basic rudimentary service.

They wouldn't allow us to taste (and I explained I just wanted to compare the dark and milk chocolate gelato before buying one or the other) their gelato. The manager seemed like he was on another planet and nobody seemed to understand that they were losing a 6 gelato order by being so obstinate.

I have never ever been to any ice cream parlour or gelateria where they haven't frankly encouraged a taste test. Even the most moronic business owner is aware that allowing prospective buyers to taste and enjoy the products, only enhances sales.

I guess this leaves me with a singular conclusion: Don't visit if you like to taste test gelato...

We had two hot chocolate drinks and two scoops of ice cream. Got to say I’m quite disappointed. The whole menu is in Italian(/German), which is not necessarily a big problem, but a little bit of help would’ve been appreciated. There was a whole menu of hot chocolate drinks/pudding, like I said in Italian so as tourists we didn’t understand what it said. When the young lady asked us what we wanted to order, we asked her for more information since we didn’t understand what it said. She “answered” with an attitude and made weird faces, as if it’s soooo weird we didn’t understand the language. She didn’t even help us out. It gave us very bad vibes. The other staff members weren’t super friendly either. All with a straight face. We didn’t feel welcome at all as tourists.

The funny thing is that the hot chocolate drink didn’t even taste good, even with the whole separate menu. It tasted like plain milk with a very little chocolate taste. The ice cream was OK,...

I had a very disappointing experience here. When I politely asked the staff at the gelato counter if I could order a coffee, the response was unnecessarily rude and aggressive, telling me that this is just for gelato.

I then went inside the café area where several staff members were present, but none of them acknowledged or approached me, even though I clearly stood there waiting.

This level of customer service felt extremely unwelcoming, and it honestly ruined part of my visit. I’ve traveled to many places, and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in terms of hospitality.
