Du' Cose da Berna — Restaurant in Siena

From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. The waitress taking our order didn’t even bother to make eye contact, which set the tone for the rest of our experience. After placing our order, we weren’t surprised when our drinks—just a Fanta, beer, and spritz—hadn’t arrived after 20 minutes. We asked the staff twice about our order, and finally, after 35 minutes, the drinks were brought to our table.

We had also ordered some sandwiches, which never arrived. After 40 minutes of waiting, we asked the staff about them, only to be told that the restaurant was full. However, we noticed that other tables who arrived after us were being served their food, and even take-away orders were being prioritized over ours.

There was absolutely no communication from the staff regarding the status of our order or any indication of when we might expect our food. After waiting almost 50 minutes, we decided to leave, still without our sandwiches. The lack of an apology or any form of acknowledgment from the staff was incredibly...

The bacon in the sandwitch was completely raw. Not smoked, not even dried or anything. Regardless of the fact that it's disgusting (which is a personal opinion), still I don't think anyone would expect raw bacon in their sandwitch. It was just a nighmare to eat, as the long pieces of bacon flew out of the sandwitch with every bite, taking other ingredients with them.The staff was also very disintrested with the clients. With the bacon out of the sandwitch, most of it's value dissapeared, so in short it was a loss of money. Other options on the menu looked nice, and the bread, dried tomato paste and buffala were very tasty, so I'm giving two stars, but the meal was...

Not recommended. My experience was disappointing. I ordered a takeaway sandwich, but the bread was stale and clearly old. Despite having to wait for someone to take my order, the staff seemed disinterested, avoiding eye contact and offering no assistance. Although the sandwich was prepared quickly, when I reached my hotel, I discovered the poor quality of the bread, which completely ruined the meal. I suspect they took the chance of having someone ordering a takeaway order to use...
