This place should be called Nino & Goons since the employees steal from customers. I'm thoroughly disappointed in this establishment and this experience really put a damper on my visit to San Gimignano, which is such a magical town. The cashier "accidentally" charged me for 2 boxes of cookies when I only purchased one, and there's no way that was an accident. There's a huge difference between 8,50€ and 17€, not to mention when she charged me I began looking through my bag to see if I had picked something else out and simply forgotten, but no, just the sole box of cookies. I didn't say anything because I was thinking there's no way she's overcharging me. I kept thinking about how overpriced those cookies were and I finally looked at my receipt about 20 minutes later and saw she charged me for 2. The moment she saw me return she looked horrified. After I confronted her she began fake apologizing and they said they couldn't give me a refund, even though it was their fault and it was most definitely purposeful, so I just got another box. They're lucky I didn't scream at them or contact their higher ups, which I will probably do anyway. There's no way that was an accident, and if it was, that woman is completely incompetent and has no business working as a cashier. I also see several other reviews detailing similar experiences so I recommend you stay away from this place. There are other places to buy overpriced sweets in Northern Italy where the staff won't...
Read moreFantastic experience, great goods and great service (Isha was super helpful!) Very tourist friendly!
They are not pushy with sales; in fact, you can try everything before you buy including their lemoncello (drink and fizzy candy), chocolate balls and truffle spreads/oils.
We were drawn in by the flowing chocolate display and chocolate samples and ended up buying $100+ worth of goodies! Makes great souvenirs for yourself or your friends/family. Highly recommend!
We got the pistachio (“peh-sta-kee-oh”) chocolate balls (⭐️⭐️⭐️), the pesto truffle spread, and the parmesan...
Read moreI am writing from Siena. ı would like to share my bad experience. I will never ever visit this shop because of the very rude and disrespectful behaviour of sales person. Red haired lady (sales person) asked to everyone "do you want to try cookies?" and I said "may I try?" She laughed and said "one more time hahah". But I havent tasted anything from her. The behaviour was so so rude. She gave an impression that I am eating all of the products for free, which is not. I am condemning this unproffessional and...
