Without a reservation, my dining companion and I tried our luck at getting a table at this wonderful restaurant. Both hosts were very friendly and honestly informed us that it might take 40–45 minutes before a table became available. We were lucky however, it took less than 10 minutes before we were given a lovely table. When a few chain-smokers sat next to us, we kindly asked for a different table. Within a few minutes, we were offered one of the most beautiful tables at the edge of the lake and we were able to continue enjoying the food, drinks, and service.

A special mention for Mudy. He is a skilled and natural host. The calm and confident way in which he served his guests was truly refreshing.

When we came to Del Garda, it was the restaurant we found from Google suggestions. Of course, it was difficult to choose when there were 55 restaurants around. But we're glad we decided not to eat here. First of all, since we came without a reservation, they took us to the waiting area at first. But after 15 minutes, we got a wonderful table. To try more dishes, we first ordered beef carpaccio with house wine. The wine was already excellent. Afterwards, we ordered grilled beef and bolognese lasagna.

The meat and spices were perfect. We continued with grilled sea bass and finished the meal with side calamari. The service was a little slow because only one waiter spoke English. We ordered tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert. I can say that the tiramisu mascarpone was the best I had in Italy. The consistency of the panna cotta was also very successful. We paid 150 euros for these, along with 1 liter of wine and water, and it was more than worth...

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and a smile, which immediately made us feel welcome. The staff truly went above and beyond to make sure every guest was comfortable and well taken care of. They paid attention to every little detail, checking in just enough without ever being intrusive, and it really felt like they cared about creating a special experience for everyone in the room.

The food itself was outstanding – full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. You could tell a lot of passion and love went into every dish. Combined with the attentive, friendly service, it created the feeling of being a guest in someone’s home rather than just another customer in a restaurant.
