Ristorante O' Sarracino Pizza & Cucina — Restaurant in Sirmione

We waited 5mins until one of the waiters noticed us. He assigned us a table shorthanded. There were a lot of flies on the table, in the menu and in our drinks as they were drawn to the light on the table (not to blame the restaurant, but this was annoying). We got served bread, but had to ask for an extra plate for oil and salt. All service employees seemed quite stressed and therefore unattentive. We waited 40mins for our meal (which was caprese and Pasta-shouldn‘t take so long). They arrived with just the Caprese, which looked sad for 14€. No Crema di Balsamico, no Basilico, no nothing. We waited for my husbands meal, after ten mins i asked the waiter, where his meal is and it turned out, that he got the order all wrong. No sorry, no compensation, no effort at all. At the end, we had to pay at the reception: the price was almost 100€ for a water, pasta and caprese. We had 6 or 7 items on the bill, which was not correct. After i complained, they gave me another wrong bill. The third one was correct, 43€ for an unattentive service and 5/10 food quality. We could have spent our evening nicer, to be honest. Also my feedback didn‘t seem to bother...

We left this restaurant with a rather bad feeling. In the morning we made a reservation, but when we arrived in the evening the waiter told us in a rather unfriendly way that they don’t accept reservations – although we still got a table.

I ordered lasagna, my wife had spaghetti carbonara. The food arrived extremely fast, within 2–3 minutes. My lasagna was okay, nothing special, just average. However, the spaghetti were very undercooked – not “al dente,” but actually hard. We mentioned this to the waiter, who brought over another colleague. In poor English mixed with Italian, he insisted the pasta was al dente. Then a third waiter came and explained that this is how they serve it, and that the problem was with us not being used to “real” Italian pasta. This is simply not true – we have eaten plenty of pasta in Italy, and this was just uncooked.

On top of that, we had to pay for the cover charge. Overall, the staff were quite unfriendly, and while the food was edible, it was not enjoyable. The whole experience was disappointing, mainly because of the service and the way...

I was there 04.05.2024 . My four-year-old son had to use the toilet very badly, unfortunately the very rude „madam”manager did not allow it, even though I offered to pay. When I asked her where the baby should pee, she replied that she didn't care. I understand, it wasn't a public toilet, but the manager could have shown a little understanding for the child and the staff and the rest of the waiters weren't stupid to laugh at such a suggestion. What's funny about it? So I do not recommend it and it is best to avoid this place because what counts here is only profit and money, not people. Besides, the opinions speak for themselves and the manager, I hope that one day she or her family will be in such a situation, then maybe she will understand how stupid she was doing.
