Absolutely amazing! This is not just gelato, but a truly authentic experience. We were warmly greeted by grandma who insisted on giving us unlimited samples and then seating us at a beautiful little outdoor table, the hustle and bustle of the world going by. All of the gelato was fantastic. We especially loved the lemon. The dark chocolate and coffee were likewise fantastic. The portions were generous and the prices are very good. We also have the pleasure of talking at length to the attentive man (son) who invited my niece to come behind the counter for a nice photo. We enjoyed it so much, we will go back tonight for more. Texture was good, flavor was pretty good (I had the pistachio), but other than that, this was a big let down. Maybe this is the best gelato in Sorrento, but if that’s the case, there is a very very low bar. The flavor options were quite traditional and limited - borderline boring. Felt like a tourist when ordering, especially when going to pay and being charged $3.50 for a small when their sign clearly read $3. After consistently amazing gelato experiences throughout Bologna and Rome recently, my expectations are lifted to the true potential of how good gelato can be.
