After an unfortunate dining experience at another restaurant, I found refuge at Trattoria dei Mori, where I ended up enjoying two consecutive evenings of exquisite Italian cuisine. The ambiance of the trattoria instantly sets a cozy and inviting mood, the kind that makes you feel right at home.

The highlight of my meals was undoubtedly the fried oysters. They were perfectly golden, crispy on the outside, and succulent on the inside—an absolute must-try for any seafood lover. Following that, I indulged in their gnocchi, which simply melted in my mouth. The dish was rich and flavorful, showcasing the chef's skill in creating authentic Italian comfort food.

Special mentions must go to the dessert department, where I was fortunate enough to taste the tiramisu and Delicie. The tiramisu was a delight—light, airy, and just the right amount of coffee flavor, making it a stellar conclusion to my meal. The Delicia, with its delicate balance of lemon sweetness, was equally impressive, and I could clearly see the passion behind its creation.

Lastly, the small tart that accompanied my desserts left a lasting impression. It was beautifully crafted and provided a perfect end to my dining experience.

I would like to extend my congratulations to the talented pastry chef for such delightful creations. Trattoria dei Mori has certainly restored my faith in dining out, and I can't wait to return for more culinary delights. Highly...

What a hidden gem tucked away in an alleyway; who would've known they served up superb, authentic cuisine.

My wife and I personally don't fancy gnocchi, but seeing how others have recommended it, we decided to give it a shot. The gnocchi alla sorrentina was just perfect - not hard like rubber, not too soft till it loses its texture and integrity. The paccheri and octopus were well cooked, the paccheri in particular had a nice balance of softness and firmness to it; and the accompanying sauce and the cheese worked harmoniously together.

We also had the anchovies for starters and it was the chef's special for the day. It might have been slightly on the dry side (to be fair it was turmeric battered), but the flavour was still sealed in. Not to mention Lusi their resident cat (forgive me if I spelt its name wrongly) wanted a portion of it.

As for the tiramisu I wouldn't say it was out-of-this-world, but it was thoroughly delicious nonetheless. Still one of the best I've had so far!

Service by Fabio was absolutely phenomenal; he went the distance to ensure we were comfortable, we were having a great time, to check in on the food, etc. He definitely took great care of us.

We chose to sit outside to enjoy the cooling weather and soak in some of the environment. The overall ambience was 10/10. 11/10 because of Lusi's presence.

What a great experience for our first time...

I do not understand how this restaurant is not on the Michelin guide, - at the very least. The food is impeccable, cooked perfectly with well balanced flavours. There is a wide variety of food on the menu which balances traditional Italian food with new dishes - definitely a restaurant that tries and succeeds with creating new dishes to try. The menu is very versatile so you can afford to be frugal and spend less, or equally choose more expensive meals and either way, you will have a lovely meal. The service is honestly top tier. The owner Salvatore (? - Sorry if incorrect) is very present with his customers and staff, and makes sure everyone is okay. The rest of the staff are also very knowledgeable, attentive and kind both towards locals and tourists even when the restaurant is very busy. The service is relatively quick considering the high standard of the food and the presentation. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming and so are the staff, even when an Italian football euro game is playing across the street - something which is very important to their culture, so much appreciated for a beautiful meal and a lovely evening. I could not recommend this restaurant more and I honestly had the best starter I have ever eaten, and I have dined at Michelin star restaurants. Amazing and thank you so much for letting us dine at your...

To visit this small Trattoria turned out to be such a wonderful, excellent and tasty surprise - how wonderful. An old Italain friend took me there - and I am so thankful that he did. The place seems to be quite small at first - but it is actually "somehow" cozy, once you're in. The Staff and kitchen Personell are "perfectly educated" in their way of behaviour and service. The place has a surprisingly vast choice of real good wines. We chose to have a wonderful, perfectly temperated Red Wine from Alto Adige (South Tirol) - a wonderful choice. The small starters were just nice and tasty while we were still up to make our choises - for Antipasti we were up for a surprise - a wonderful combination of small delicious "somethings" (filled Zucchini flower, Octopus salad with potatoes, gratinated potatoes with Mozzarella, etc.) - and as Primo Piatto (first main course) we had Gnocchi - my friend took them "a la Sorrentina" - I had them with Aceto Balsamico - both dishes were just a culinaric dream! The wine, the food, the cozy atmosphere of "smallness" - it all went hand in hand to grant us a wonderful evening and experience - a TOP NOTCH place one should definitely go to - if you don't - well, you'll be missing something! My Thanks, and combined with my best regards, I can only say - ci vediamo di nuovo in Gennaio!
