Calarossa Caffè — Restaurant in Syracuse

I went to Calarossa cafe with my girlfriend. We ordered two americanos, as soon as we had finished the waiter took our cups and rudely asked us to pay and leave because he ‘needed’ the table (there was nobody waiting).

I witnessed this happening to at least two other tables, the guests were also annoyed at being asked to leave the moment they had finished without opportunity to order anything else.

This became our go-to morning breakfast place on our recent holiday. Lovely friendly owners. I suspect you would have to try quite hard to find a bad coffee on Italy, but I particularly enjoyed the cappuccino from here, especially with the sea view. My partner really enjoyed the brioche/granita in the mornings, but I must admit I can't get on board with pudding for breakfast! Luckily they do a range of toasted sandwiches - all the ones I tried...

Just avoid it. Really not polite. Just asked to use the toilet and even though they were completely empty the reply was that the toilets were only for the clients. They lost a potential client and showed their wrong attitude towards business - give always first. They also motivated me on the wrong sense to rate and write about the incident.
