Delicious food with beautiful plating presentation. Price vs. Quality spot on. Good variety of dishes (mainly seafood). Quality service and friendly staff.

Personal favourite restaurant among 10+ visited ones which included michelin recommended ones.

Suppa di pesce is fantastic. Octopus starter fantastic (no pics as dinner was too good to play with phone). Eggplant starter with parmesan was melting in the mouth, same as veal main(pictures). Good wines to pair with delicious seafood. Works very well for lunch(most seats outside are hidden from midday sun) and even better for dinner (romantic evening atmosphere).

Clientele mostly Italians who by the looks of it also enjoy this restaurant.

Revisited in May 2023 and the quality dropped like a stone. Another chef and each dish missed a taste. I came back because of the Parmegiana which hanted me for 12 moths due to its amazing taste. Molto difficile fare la recensione di questo posto. Partiamo con il fatto che il tavolo all'esterno per noi era sotto la canna fumaria/ventola ossia molto rumoroso e con odore. Siamo stati spostati, bene. Abbiamo scelto un tavolo vicino alla cucina (uno dei più vicini a dove eravamo), siamo stati un po' pigri devo ammettere). Il secondo problema sorge: una delle due ante della porta della cucina era sempre aperta, sentendo tutto ciò che succedeva in cucina. Non bene. Io ho ordinato maccheroncini alla norma, molto buoni e un fritti misto di pesce. Molti dei pesci piccoli non erano puliti (ci sta, si usa anche così). Il colore della pastella (giallino) suggeriva che l'olio non fosse nuovo. Il pesce non pareva molto fresco. Il problema principale però rimane il servizio. Per due principali motivi: siamo stati serviti letteralmente da tutti i camerieri facendosi che alcune domande siano state ripetute 3 volte. Alla mia compagna è stato chiesto 3 volte se gradisse un piatto per condividere il fritto di pesce. Lei ha sempre risposto no. Il capo sale (probabilmente propietario) senza chiedere o confrontarsi lo ha poi portato lo stesso. Il secondo problema del servizio è stato la scelta dei calici. Scelto un vino bianco, è stato discusso se aprire o meno una nuova bottiglia, ricadendo sul no. Ci sta ma non farlo alla luce del sole è meglio. Preferite sentire che non serviamo calici oppure che bisogna prenderne almeno due a testa per aprire una bottiglia. Una volta servitoci il vino bianco leggermente fruttato (così come lessi velocemente sul menu), abbia deciso appunto di non prenderlo dopo l'assaggio perché non di nostro gradimento (questione di gusto solamente). Il cameriere che ci ha servito in quel momento ha infatti ti adito essere fruttato ma è stato contraddetto ben due volte da un altro cameriere, probabilmente il titolare. La figura non sole è doppia per la discussione ma per il fatto che si vuole contraddire il cliente (la mia compagna che assaggiava) ma anche insistere su una cosa che a menù non dava ragione. Il vino poi scelto era di nostro gradimento. Ripeto, questo di gusto, anche il primo vino era buono. Il conto è corretto per un ristorante da questa valutazione ma scorretto per ciò che che abbiamo mangiato per la cattiva esecuzione e per l'insistenza del personale anche a costo di contraddire il cliente quando i gusti sono soggettivi. Ripeto, non contestata la bontà del vino ma il gusto personale. Probabilmente si può avere una buona/ottima cena andando su piatti sicuri come un piatto di maccheroncini alla norma e un piatto di cannoli scomposti. Davvero un...

We had expected a pleasant experience here based on the reviews but it turned out to be very disappointing. We waited 30 minutes for our order to be taken because only one waiter was allowed to take orders, after asking them to take our order a couple of times. The food (clam pasta and Siracusa spaghetti) was bland and salty, only the octopus entree was decent. To top it off we were rushed out of the restaurant the moment we finished our food because there were other guests waiting for a table outside. There were plenty of other tables inside.
