Copacabana — Restaurant in Trieste

Allergens are written on the menu. Unfortunately there are not so many gluten free options available. We visited at about 1 PM on Sunday in June. The service and wait time was very fast and the pizzas were good. The grilled beef steak which I ordered as a gluten free option was awful! It had no taste at all and after chewing it for a while only a rubbery clumb was left. I do not recommed if you're planning to have a gluten free meal. I ordered the Quattro Formaggi pizza and only later realized it included tomato and some non-Italian cheeses. That was my oversight. I should have noticed before ordering. The pizza wasn’t really bad, but it wasn’t to my taste, as I prefer the traditional white version with only Italian cheeses.

Cibo discreto... Servizio inguardabile, abbiamo consumato in questo ristorante sia a pranzo che a cena io e un mio collega (non italiano) , considerando la convenzione tramite la nostra azienda. Inizio col dire la poca professionalità dei camerieri la sera, che vedendo una persona straniera, uno dei due portò un menù SOLO ED ESCLUSIVAMENTE in italiano, quando chiesi uno in inglese mi è stato risposto che non esisteva uno ( cosa alquanto non vera, visto che a ora di pranzo l'altro suo collega portó quest'ultima) sbalordito mi guardó e mi risponde: ... Quindi lo devo dire io ( cliente) che siete provvisti di un menù in lingua straniera?! 😲😅. Tralasciando questo scivolone... L'altro impiegato non so se conosce la parola guest relation...provando a scherzare (visto che poteva essere mio coetaneo) non facendo alcun sorriso anzi alquanto infastidito e totalmente inespressivo (forse dalla mole di lavoro nel prendere ordini) Non fa caso prende la comanda in fretta e furia e va via. Dopo questo bel comportamento abbiamo deciso io e il mio collega di non lasciare MANCO un centesimo di mancia, pensando alla nostra cordialità e professionalità verso un cliente, sul nostro posto di lavoro. Concludo dicendo, che tutti siamo bravi a portare un piatto a tavola, la differenza sta nel come si porta...o se sai...
