Whenever we visit Trieste, our first stop is always at Urbanis for coffee and tramezin. It's become a tradition for us, and for good reason. The coffee here is exceptional, and the tramezin never disappoints.
The only minor issue we've encountered is with the service. It often takes a while to be attended to, and you sometimes have to go searching for someone in the establishment. In fact, I've never been quite sure whether I should wait for a waiter at the table or head to the counter to place an order myself.
Despite this small hiccup, the quality of the coffee and tramezin keeps us coming back. The cozy atmosphere and the taste of Italy that Urbanis offers are truly wonderful. It's a place where you can relax and savor your coffee while watching the world go by.
In summary, Urbanis is a must-visit spot in Trst for coffee and tramezin lovers. They might want to work on their service efficiency, but the overall experience and the flavors they offer are well...

And for context we are foreigners and people of color and I highly thing that this is the main source of the mistreatment. After all my friend wanted to use the restroom and asked for it and the waiter literally snapped at him saying "couldn't you read the paper saying that it is put of service" but how could he read it if he didn't even know where it is.
Take your money where...

Urbanis is positioned close to the main square but the prices are reasonable and the ambience is dynamic but private.
Any time of the day you visit you can expect it to meet your needs. It seamlessly transitions from a great place to have your morning coffee to a quaint brunch spot, then into a perfect spot for an aperitif or an afternoon snack and finally into a wine and coctail bar in the evening. You can oftentimes stumbe across a DJ performance in the afternoons or in the evening.
Anything you get is good. Seriously good.
I can safely say that they make the bast Aperol spritz anywhere and it comes with an abundance of snacks.
Definitely a must when you're in Trieste. Forget the shops and have...
