It was a very nive place which was hid from the world.

I would recommend it for everyone! The mood was the classic italian mood, they have nice italien music and also a very cosy inside. Nothing special but thats what makes it special. There is not a lot of people here so make it popular! It needs some support. The prices are normal. The place is runed by only one man and it's not a problem! He can carry everything on his back and he is fast! Believe me.

The food is very delicious and it brings the classic italian kitchen's flavors. We've tried four different pastas and they were all the bests.

If you come here at night there are a few options for drinking so that's not a problem if you're lookin for that.

The place closes at 23.00 so you can prep your night here.

Premessa 1 - Sono stato qui 7/8 anni fa e mi sono trovato benissimo Premessa 2 - Sono sostanzialmente povero e faccio la spesa da Lidl Premessa 3 - Ho lavorato 25 anni nella ristorazione Arriviamo dopo aver prenotato per il nostro anniversario di fidanzamento, decidiamo per due zuppe di pesce e due spaghetti allo scoglio, al momento dell'ordine lo chef(?) ci consiglia un antipasto diverso perché la zuppa di pesce e gli spaghetti sono (per lui) la stessa cosa. Quindi optiamo per alici al limone e cocktail di gamberi come antipasto. Le alici sono esattamente le stesse di Lidl, con un mare di rucola sotto, otto alici di numero e 3/4 cubetti di pomodoro. Il cocktail di gamberi, gamberi surgelati (6), salsa imprecisata e insalata in busta come fondo. Pane, baguette di Lidl tagliata a pezzi, vino rosso (mezzo litro) travasato da una bottiglia di plastica da tre/quattro litri. Spaghetti allo scoglio... 150/170 grammi di pasta a testa, 5 cozze di numero, merluzzo (o qualcosa di simile) una seppia a piatto e due gamberoni che al momento di aprirli... Lasciamo perdere... Li abbiamo lasciati lì, completamente insapore. Quindi mi alzo e decido (sigh) di andare a pagare,mi presento alla cassa con la mia Postepay, e lui mi dice che non accetta pagamenti con la carta... Io gli rispondo che lui per legge è obbligato ad accettare il bancomat...testuale risposta:"sai quante cose dovrei fare per legge".... Quindi, vado a prelevare, torno indietro, e gli dico che cmq ho mangiato male, che il pesce era surgelato e di Lidl... Lui mi risponde che non è così, che qui a Trieste tutto il pesce è così... In conclusione, avremmo dovuto pagare sulle 40 euro...si è preso 30 euro, ovviamente senza scontrino... NON DATE RETTA ALLE RECENSIONI POSITIVE, SONO DI TURISTI STRANIERI CHE NON CAPISCONO UN C..... Sono andato a mangiare lì perché ho letto le recensioni, ma a malincuore vi dico che non valgono nulla. Soldi buttati. E tanto...

The place to be in Triest and certainly the best restaurant we have been to. This was a restaurant we exactly came for at Triest. The cook/waiter/chef and maestro has been super sympathetic and the atmosphere was incredible. Even when there were no Carbonara left on our first visit he promised us to backup two Carbonara for us the next evening. And they have been extraordinary. By far the best Carbonara we ate over our whole trip the last two weeks and we didn’t regret to come to this place twice in three days at Triest.
