Very cozy place, an huge selection of wines from Italy and France, but also Australia, US. Valentina and Andreas are super professional and friendly, they suggested us a blind tasting with a red Etna wines from Sicily and we’re really surprised not to be in Northern Italy or in France after we discovered it!! Crazy! Definitely the best choice during our visit in Trieste!

What an amazing night we had on Friday! Wines were fantastic, the cold cuts too, but what came as a complete surprise was the music - sax, guitar and a vocal. The selection of songs and unpretentious, intimate performance stole my heart! Cant recommend this place enough!

Antica osteria triestina finalmente riaperta grazie alla grinta e all'entusiasmo di una coppia. Accoglienza molto calorosa (cosa ormai rara a Trieste), professionalità e preparazione. Vasta scelta di vini di ottima qualità, accompagnati da tartine sfiziose con prodotti di qualità a partire dal prosciutto crudo, mortadella e salame, tra l'altro affettati a regola d'arte. Non mancano ovviamente le polpette. Buona scelta per quanto riguarda la birra.Sicuramente ci tornerò.

Valentina, the owner, took us through her collection, and we tried some amazing local wines that are unheard of in the UK. We learnt more about the region and its history, and about some of the local wine families. A really friendly place with welcoming people and fabulous wines!...
