EDIT: Apparently the restaurant owner cannot take criticism, and although they observed the unacceptable behavior of their employee they didn't care to know why we may have been disappointed. It would be nice to know what people like us means, though not much can be expected from people like them (pun intended), they even shamelessly call other dissatisfied reviewers stupid. An open mind is necessary for a successful business but none was found here.
When you claim to offer a modern restaurant experience, the service should be on par with the claim.
I visited with my wife during our honeymoon trip. We read great reviews about the food and wine of this place and it looked a bit different than your average place in Trieste.
However, we were met with very disrespectful service. The waiter seemed to be more interested in me than providing us with a nice restaurant experience. She was constantly ignoring my wife acting as if I was the only one at the table.
This made me uncomfortable (imagine my wife) to the extent that we have to quickly down our wine, drop our food in the middle and leave.
The food didn't really spike our interest either but that can be improved. What needs drastic change however is the treatment towards customers because I'm afraid that as is I wouldn't recommend...

I ordered Pasta Fresca and on the menu you can see it's 12€ onwards so i ordered it without any addons, just a regular one coz ingridients seemed fine and so did the price. When i got the receipt it said Pasta Bruscandoli 18€. I told the waitress that i didn't order that. She said that on the reciept this is actually Pasta Fresca, but they ran out of it because they change pasta daily and they just gave me this one. I wasn't told that when i did the order , neither when i received the food. Neither i was told this will be 18€ instead of 12€.

Disrespectful and unprofessional service, overestimated and mediocre food, good wine selection. The waitress made a very unpleasant experience for my husband and I.
I don't know what was wrong with the waitress (Billy Eilish wanna-be looked like, to clarify) but she couldn't take her eyes and attention off my husband while she ghosted and ignored me during her service, literally did not stop staring at my husband.
She made it impossible to finish our plates and we felt urged to leave after seeing enough of her incompetent service.
