Vintage 1997 — Restaurant in Turin

Firstly a disclaimer; I'm vegetarian and so the choice available in most restaurants is always limited. We chose this restaurant because of their wide selection of interesting dishes. The service and ambience were very good. As the truffle and porcini season had just started there was a fine selection and the white truffle from asti that I had with taglarini was beautiful. My disappointment was that the pasta was drowned in butter and so very greasy. For the starter I was advised to try the ratatouille but the flavours of the vegetables were overwhelmed by carrot and didn't combine to form a greater dish than the components. My husband said the borage flan with bagna cauda was excellent and the porcini risotto well executed but didn't pack a punch. The desert wine selection by the glass was excellent and contained some less known bottles not normally available by the glass. I suspect the meat and fish dishes would be finer but I do believe vegetarian dishes test a chef's skill and appreciation...

Durante il nostro soggiorno a Torino nel mese di febbraio, abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare al rinomato Ristorante Vintage. Questa esperienza è stata assolutamente memorabile e degna di essere condivisa.

Il menù del Ristorante Vintage ci ha stupito con una selezione eccezionale di piatti tradizionali piemontesi e delizie culinarie innovative. Ogni portata era un viaggio di sapori, perfettamente bilanciati e presentati con un'arte raffinata. Dall'antipasto al dolce, ogni boccone è stato un piacere per il palato. Raccomandiamo vivamente il risotto al Barolo e il vitello tonnato, due piatti che incarnano l'essenza della cucina locale.

Il personale del ristorante si è dimostrato estremamente cordiale e professionale. Ci hanno accolto con un sorriso caloroso e ci hanno fatto sentire come ospiti d'onore. La loro conoscenza del menù e dei vini era impressionante, e le loro raccomandazioni si sono rivelate eccellenti. Nonostante il ristorante fosse affollato, il servizio è stato sempre attento e puntuale.

Il Ristorante Vintage si distingue anche per l'attenzione alla pulizia e all'ordine. Gli spazi comuni, i tavoli e i bagni erano immacolati. La cura dei dettagli non è passata inosservata, e abbiamo apprezzato l'ambiente accogliente e ben curato.

L'atmosfera del Ristorante Vintage è un perfetto mix di eleganza e nostalgia. L'arredamento, con mobili d'epoca e decorazioni retrò, crea un ambiente unico e affascinante. Le luci soffuse e la musica di sottofondo contribuiscono a rendere l'esperienza culinaria ancora più piacevole.

La combinazione di cibo eccellente, personale cordiale, pulizia impeccabile e un'atmosfera incantevole lo rende un luogo imperdibile per chiunque visiti la città. The food is by the far the best in town and the staff members are very kind and attentive. The only one thing that put me off is that the owner when brought the white truffle at the beginning of the meal he states it was 19 grams and then we went to pay he claimed it was originally 22grams so effectively made me pay 3grams more. It’s not about the money and for the food and the experience it was worth every penny of it but the fact the he was questioning my words pretending he was right when the both of us heard 19grams in the first place!
