For our 1-day city trip my wife and myself spontaneously chose this restaurant on behalf of the photos and reviews.

The photos were mainly pizza, so we decided to take pasta with an appetizer instead. The pasta was tremendous, cooked on point with a rememberable and unique flavour! The composition of ingredients for the pasta were remarkable and we probably had the best bread we have ever gotten in a restaurant being so fresh and warm.

Moreover it was the service which stunned us, with Andrea being super kind, not too intrusive and always keeping an eye for the detail. Recommending me a great and tasteful choice of local beers and taking the time to explain us all the various courses in English was something which we definitely were not expecting on this high level.

There was literally nothing we could complain about - everything was on spot. Amazing experience with all our expectations...

Ricevo un secco "no" come risposta.

I had been eagerly anticipating a visit to this charming restaurant, given its stellar reviews and the authentic vibe it exudes as I pass by nearly every day on my grocery runs. Today, pressed for time and in need of a quick snack, I decided to try their €1 focaccia rossa to satisfy my hunger. The staff was amiable, promptly warming up my slices upon request. Regrettably, the focaccia that awaited me was disappointingly dry, with a crunchy crust that overshadowed its lack of a moist, tender interior, and the rich olive oil that characterizes a superb focaccia was notably absent. Perhaps the slice had lingered on the counter too long, or it was overheated? Regardless, it fell short of the exceptional focaccia rossa I've savored throughout Turin. Despite this experience, I'm inclined to give Magno another chance...

I was highly disappointed with this place. In shorter terms, it was the worst pasta I’ve had in my Italian vacation. First, the carbonara was too salty. I couldn’t even finish it. I had my companion try it and she immediately threw it back out. Thirdly, she couldn’t finish her pasta either due to the lack of flavor. Next, the server was bringing us dishes we didn’t order and charged us at the end. I’m not sure if this is normal, but it happened to us. Lastly, the best thing about this place was that water. We ordered still water and that was delicious. To say the best thing in a restaurant is their water speaks volumes. The restaurant is beautiful inside though. That’s why I give atmosphere 5 stars, for the decorating inside.
