Amazing vegan place, we were so positively surprised to find one in Italy and it was delicious. We sadly could only go during lunch time, which is a bit different from dinner. The food we tried was amazing and the staff was welcoming, though the system of seating and ordering was a bit confusing to us as foreigners and we struggled with reading the italian-only card on the wall. We also went when it was very full, which means the staff coudln't translate everything for us (though I am sure they would have otherwise), but they were still able to give us a good overview and recommendations. While the restaurand is nicely decorated, it was a bit of a tight fit for us since it was so full - takout might have been the nicer option for lunch. If you want to go for dinner, make sure to reserve a seat in advance as they seem to be booked out a lot! Prices...

Such great food. We had a wonderful mixed antipasti, bursting with flavours - some middle eastern, some more Piedmontese with a vegan twist. For primi I had the tagliatelle with a creamy hazelnut sauce, lemon and agretti (saltwort - a little salty seaside leaf plant). My partner had the vegan carbonara, with smoked tofu, turmeric and soya cream. Both were excellent, and there were so many other things on the menu we would have loved to try - a lentil Wellington, paccheri with asparagus and tomato, potato and chestnut gnocchi with leek sauce and strips of artichoke. It can be a struggle being vegetarian or vegan in Piedmont, where meat seems to be at the heart of most dishes, so being spoilt for choice was an absolute luxury. I so wish we had found this place earlier...

My friend and I found this restaurant completely by accident and it was the most perfect experience we could’ve asked for. The staff is incredibly kind and warm, the atmosphere of the place is welcoming and familiar. The service is fast, we were starving and got our food in less than ten minutes. And the food. The food was fantastic. It was fresh and flavorful. Melted in the mouth. Super aromatic and you left a smile on your face from the very first bite. It felt like a warm hug and comforting food from your Italian mom or grandma. If you’re ever in Turin please do yourself the favor of going there and trying as much of the food as possible. You won’t regret it. Grazie mille!

I am myself a vegan cook cheffe in France, and oh my god. I'm impressed. Honestly so impressed. The food is incredible. Recipes with a lot of work and creativity. The pasta sauces are delicious. The quinoa flan is surprisingly amazing, a nice discovery. People working here are probably the nicest you can find in Torino. The atmosphere of the restaurant is intimate, and the space inside is clean, beautiful, fresh, and well designed. You will have a premium experience here. Congrats, Mezzaluna team, Huge congrats to cheffe Daniela Zaccuri, Thank you for existing.

Divine food - the best I have ever eaten, much better than any of the places I have tried throughout the USA where I live. We went there too early for dinner one evening, but one of the cooks was kind enough to warm up some of the take away from the refrigerated display and let us eat there. We liked the food so much we went back for a proper meal next day and had the most delicious lunch. One of the restaurant staff members, Roberta, was very friendly and explained all the menu options. It was a great experience having honest, flavorful, healthy and hearty food.
