This is the second time coming to this restaurant. Both times i looked on google maps for a place to have lunch, after visiting the City of Torino, and both times landed on this restaurant with "typical piedmont food."

The inside atmosphere is very nicely decorated. It is climate controlled which is nice especially if the weather is hot outside. I remember last year there was a family with a baby but it was not loud at all.

The waiter (last year and this year) wicked nice and and helpful. They were attentive and answered all questions we had.

The food was amazing. I remember last year we ordered the appetizer of tomini cheeses with various sauces on the cheeses, very good.

My daughter ordered the agnlotti al plin ... this is a typical piedmont dish and it was delicious. My wife order tagliatelle al ragu ... also a very good dish. I tried something new and also tried a new dish, misto piemontese in carpione. Preparing food in carpione is placing it in vinegar and oil and other spices similar to pickling. The food is typically meats or vegetables. My dish included chicken, trout, zucchini and also an over easy egg, which seemed out of place but all came together nicely.

An excellent restaurant in the...

AVOID THIS PLACE!

A lot of things to say - we were a group of 13 persons and we wanted to have a nice dinner

  1. At the beginning everything looked nice but when we had questions about the menu or photos that we saw in google maps from the place the waiter answered very rude to one of my friends

  2. The waiter kept making bad jokes about things that we asked and also when we asked him to add one more chair to the table - he said “she can eat in the kitchen”

  3. The food was ok - not good not bad but expensive for what they offer

  4. When we asked the bill - since everyone asked for something different we wanted to split and the waiter got super mad and started to say that we were in their restaurant and we had to follow their rules. We complaint about it in a nice way and he started to say that we should leave as soon as we can and we felt really bad about it because they didn’t care about our complaints he kept saying a lot of things to us (also we record a video)

  5. The lady at the end ( I think she’s the manager) she tried to listen to us but still she wasn’t...

Me and my three kids was adviced this place by butchery down the road and hoped we can eat true Piemontese food. We entered it seemed nice and cozy. But after a while we noticed stuffed animals and horns on the wall. A bit creepy. We ordered appetiser a plater of mix cheese and meats, then selection of tomino and ravioli and macaroni. We got starter relatively quick it was not super wow! Just usual plate which I can get from supermarket. Tomino came in smallest quantity ever and did not look as tomino I expected. And then we had waited for 30+ mins for our seconds to arrive. People who came after us got their the same order before us even. And it was not worth waiting. Usual pasta bolognese and not even homemade ravioli. At the end we paid for disappointment. And the cherry on top our table was right next...

The place looks good inside and out and after walking by 20 times I decided to try it on my last night in Turin. Plus, it doesn’t get crowded until around 8:30 or nine. It bills itself as authentic Piedmont Montana and meat is their specialty. While it sounded great, I went for pasta again, it was my last night. The rigatoni with their meat ragu was very good. It came with a big basket of tasty crunchy bread. They have a nice wine list too with even a Local DOCG or two by the glass. I also had the traditional chocolate dessert and espresso - all really good. The prices were very reasonable too, all that for €43. I sat outside on the sidewalk just because, but the inside looked even more charming.

We really enjoyed dinner here, it was not at all crowded (a few restaurants we found on the way were full, reservations recommended) but we tend to eat earlier and Italians later so that workout out well. If you are more “dinner at 19h vibe” that’s perfect because local crowds tend more towards 20h30 - 21h00. We had a shared apéritivo plate of local goodies then I had the roasted rabbit (a Piedmontese specialty) and sir had beef cheeks. Both were tasty and authentic, accompanied with a local Nebbiolo. Very reasonably priced and the service was molto bene 👌 Grazie !
