This is the second time coming to this restaurant. Both times i looked on google maps for a place to have lunch, after visiting the City of Torino, and both times landed on this restaurant with "typical piedmont food."
The inside atmosphere is very nicely decorated. It is climate controlled which is nice especially if the weather is hot outside. I remember last year there was a family with a baby but it was not loud at all.
The waiter (last year and this year) wicked nice and and helpful. They were attentive and answered all questions we had.
The food was amazing. I remember last year we ordered the appetizer of tomini cheeses with various sauces on the cheeses, very good.
My daughter ordered the agnlotti al plin ... this is a typical piedmont dish and it was delicious. My wife order tagliatelle al ragu ... also a very good dish. I tried something new and also tried a new dish, misto piemontese in carpione. Preparing food in carpione is placing it in vinegar and oil and other spices similar to pickling. A lot of things to say - we were a group of 13 persons and we wanted to have a nice dinner
At the beginning everything looked nice but when we had questions about the menu or photos that we saw in google maps from the place the waiter answered very rude to one of my friends
The waiter kept making bad jokes about things that we asked and also when we asked him to add one more chair to the table - he said “she can eat in the kitchen”
The food was ok - not good not bad but expensive for what they offer
When we asked the bill - since everyone asked for something different we wanted to split and the waiter got super mad and started to say that we were in their restaurant and we had to follow their rules. We complaint about it in a nice way and he started to say that we should leave as soon as we can and we felt really bad about it because they didn’t care about our complaints he kept saying a lot of things to us (also we record a video)
The lady at the end ( I think she’s the manager) she tried to listen to us but still she wasn’t...
Me and my three kids was adviced this place by butchery down the road and hoped we can eat true Piemontese food. We entered it seemed nice and cozy. But after a while we noticed stuffed animals and horns on the wall. A bit creepy. We ordered appetiser a plater of mix cheese and meats, then selection of tomino and ravioli and macaroni. We got starter relatively quick it was not super wow! Just usual plate which I can get from supermarket. Tomino came in smallest quantity ever and did not look as tomino I expected. And then we had waited for 30+ mins for our seconds to arrive. People who came after us got their the same order before us even. And it was not worth waiting. Usual pasta bolognese and not even homemade ravioli. At the end we paid for disappointment. And the cherry on top our table was right next...
