Poormanger 2 — Restaurant in Turin

We came across this restaurant after seeing a large queue for a table on the weekend and decided to check it out later in the week when it wasn’t so busy. We entered the restaurant and were immediately confronted rudely by a staff member who asked how may we needed a table. Once we explained then we there was no further follow up and we were left to stand there waiting in a very busy restaurant feeling like nuisances. Finally, the staff member seated us, however she continued this very rude behaviour. Making us feel like we were an inconvenience in her day especially when we asked if we could have more time to peruse the menu. Once we ordered and the food finally came it was good but nothing special when we are used to great jacket potatoes back home for a 1/4 of the price. Overall, the experience was massively underwhelming, the customer service severely lacking and the whole place...

Ok so the food was ok and I found the carbonara in a baked potato very tasty. Gazpacho was ok, probably wouldn't take it again. Prices were very decent and no tourist trap schemes. When I first entered the girl that greeted me was very friendly and she also spoke English. Same as another girl who took my order. But the girl that actually brought the food was so absolutely unfriendly that it ruined the whole experience. Side note she was also unfriendly to the native Italians, so had nothing to do with me being a tourist. Because of that one star for the service. Would not go there again. 2 drinks gazpacho and the carbonara were only 20 euro, prices are fair if you don't mind the awefull service from...

Poormanger è un’innovativa catena di locali molto belli e complementari nel suo “genere” e stile. 💯

Siamo venuti di domenica a orario “Brunch” molto sul tardi possiamo dire, ed ero sicuro che avrei fatto assaggiare alla persona con me una squisitezza UNICA NEL SUO GENERE”.🔝

Per prima cosa avete la possibilità di prenotarvi dalle ragazze che stanno fuori e fanno accomodare lasciando un vostro recapito 📲 e mente voi continuerete a farvi un giretto nei d’intorni mano mano che si libera qualche tavolo verrete chiamati e bisognerà cercare di non esser troppi distanti. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻

Nelle tovagliette che vedete sul tavolo è riportato tutto il menù, compreso di dolci e specialità.

La cosa bella che sembra di esser in una piccola trattoria con bicchieri bassi e tavoli piccoli. 🙃

Io ho preso la mia 🥔 con la CARBONARA 🥚🍳🥓 😍 L’altra invece con SALSICCIA Di VITELLO E GRANA (senza rucola 😔 l’ha voluta)

Devo dire che sono state ottime, queste mega patate hanno il loro composto interno che si scioglie in bocca.

Le fantasie sono molte, i gusti infiniti e devo dire che non abbiamo aspettato molto.

⚠️Unica pecca che ho notato da subito è l’1€ del cestino di pane 🥖🤔

Sinceramente ora qui si aprirà un dibattito e noi clienti non siamo i padroni di casa che possono scegliere cosa fare e come gestire il proprio locale.

Ma non capisco molto bene se è stata una cosa conteggiata apposta per moltiplicare le centinaia e centinaia di tavoli che servite al giorno per quel’1€x400x1000 che vi entra in più, o un piano di marketing sul consumo da poter portare le persone magari a ordinare qualche patata in più e non il classico pane o grissini.

Onestamente ogni ristorante dai tempi antichi hanno sempre messo nella voce “coperto” i vari prezzi di consumo. Dalla posata, al bicchiere, al pane ecc.

Questa cosa mi ha fatto pensare tanto, e se gradite un consiglio piuttosto fate pagare il coperto in più la gente non scapperà per un servizio come il vostro vs 0,50/1€ in più. ⚠️

Per il resto rimane uno di quei posti miei preferiti e son sicuro che tornerò a mangiarmi una buona e...
