University Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Turin

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. First, we asked if they served food, and they said they only had pizza and pasta. Once we chose, they suddenly told us that pizza wasn’t available—only pasta. Then, after selecting different types of pasta, they informed us that they only made one kind.

The service was equally bad. Instead of setting our table properly, they just placed the paper mat, cutlery, and everything else in the middle of the table for us to sort out ourselves. When the food finally arrived, it was a ridiculously small portion of overly greasy spaghetti.

Even the drinks were overpriced—€4 for a simple soda!

Overall, this place was a complete disappointment. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Edit: Instead of writing a sarcastic reply, maybe learn how to treat customers with basic respect. If you can’t meet customer requests, don’t accept them in the first place. Your unprofessional attitude and rude response only confirm how poor the service was. No wonder it was...

We found this place by chance as we were trying to find a place to eat. The waitress we spoke to spoke very good English and she was very nice and friendly. We sat outside but there is also seating inside. The restaurant offers an all you can eat buffet type style of food which we didn't have, we went with the pizza and there were also many other options on the menu. The pizza was priced at €7.50-€8.50 and it was delicious! The wine there was also VERY nice especially the prosecco they severed there, it wasn't fizzy either! We came here a few times during our trip. Would highly recommend is you just wanted a drink...

Sono stata in questo posto ben due volte ed entrambe mi sono sentita male. La prima volta sono andata con il mio ragazzo ed ho ordinato un frullato (teoricamente chiesto senza latte) ma mi è stato portato questo bibitone con latte e frutta di non si sa che tipo. Ne ho bevuto neanche metà e l'ho lasciato, ho avuto delle fitte allo stomaco per il resto della serata. La seconda volta è stata IL 27 giugno per l'aperitivo. Prezzo nella media: 10€ drink+buffet. Primo e ultimo piattino. Prendo un po' di cose ed era tutto insapore e duro (sicuramente di giorni fa), per fortuna poi mi cade l'occhio su questo coso (forse peperone ripieno, non saprei neanche dire cosa fosse) ed era completamente ammuffito! Da far vomitare. Entra dentro la mia amica per avvertirli ma non è importato a nessuno, non ci sono state rivolte neanche delle scuse ma solo dei "grazie" per averglielo detto. Ci assicurano che avrebbero buttato il resto. Finisco il mio drink e andiamo di nuovo dentro e la roba ammuffita invece era ancora lì, ce n'era un vassoio pieno e c'erano ancora persone che se ne servivano. Abbiamo ribadito il concetto alla signora dietro il banco ma anche lei risponde con un "grazie" e delle scuse improbabili: "probabilmente è uscita la muffa perché ha preso aria, ma non credo sia tutto ammuffito, magari era solo quello", quindi non hanno neanche liberato il buffet dalle cose andate a male. Io mi auguro che nessuno si sia sentito...
