Unfortunately, our meal was disappointing due to the poor quality of the appetisers. Both dishes tasted far from fresh—the Calabrian meatball seemed as though it had been fried well in advance and then quickly reheated, yet it was still dry and stale. The mozzarella anchovy ball was worse, having absorbed excessive oil due to being reheated at too low a temperature.

Despite the friendly staff, there was no acknowledgment that these dishes were not up to standard. When appetisers are left uneaten due to their quality, it is generally expected that they would be removed from the bill.

Neither of us could finish our appetisers—they were inedible and significantly below the standard of the same dishes we enjoyed elsewhere in Venice.

Ultimately, management decided to charge for the uneaten dishes regardless. While we did not wish to leave a negative review, paying for food that was not fit to eat leaves no alternative.

In a heavily touristed area, it may be easy to assume that one dissatisfied customer is inconsequential. However, good hospitality is about consistency, not just relying on passing trade. Quality and fairness should...

The worst service I have ever seen

The waiter is so rude, grumpy and not helpful at all, I believe that was kind of being racist, he didn’t give us a minute to check the menu and came 3 times in 4 minutes asking for our order, he doesn’t know anything about hospitality and serving, I bet he has never been in somewhere else to see how to operate a restaurant, he thinks guests are taking advantage of him and his place so he charges guests 1.5 Euros if they use toilets

I checked his comments on reviews here, the owner described tourists as ignorant, I don’t know how the country allows these kind of people to ruin...

Quiet place for a wonderful meal. I had the Spaghetti Alla Busera and it was easily one of my favorite pasta dish I’ve had in Italy - and I’ve had more than a few. (You can tell by looking at me). Filet and fries is a good and safe choice if you like beef. Even though the price is a little higher than a sandwich shop, it is well worth it - and it is not real expensive.

We stumbled upon this restaurant walking around Murano, away from the busy and touristy high streets. The food was amazing (we had Pistachio Spaghetti) and we would certainly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice meal in the north of the island. It offers both inside and outside seating, overlooking a church and a canal, giving quite a nice atmosphere.

The island murano is a part of Venice, famous for glass works and arts. This little restaurant gave us a perfect location for eating a quick lunch. Spaghetti vongole (clams) and spaghetti carbonara were perfect, service was kind and quick, the place was nice and clean
