Bar all'Angolo — Restaurant in Venice

Bar all'Angolo is a lovely little coffee shop with baked goods and sandwiches. Food and espresso drinks were great. They have a good selection of breakfast pastries and espresso drinks as well as an assortment of lunch sandwiches. We had breakfast there then bought sandwiches for later in the day.

The staff was incredible. They are fast and friendly and accurate, what more could you want? They were also very accommodating to us as tourists (very willing to make our teenage son a breakfast egg sandwich when he wanted more than a cornetto). My Italian is very limited but their English thankfully was not.

If I lived here I could see this being some place I would visit nearly every day. Would 100% recommend and will visit again on another trip to Venice.

Our “local” while in Venice. Fantastico espresso, fresh orange juice, bellissimo pastries straight out of the oven - smells devine! Open nice and early which is great for us as we are early birds. Annelise is a superstar! She does it all and is still able to have a great sense of humor, juggle everything and even put up with a very broken italian. This bar is a pretty underrated place to eat. I went there with 6 other people. The staff was very kind and gave us outside seats right away for seven people. The staff also explained to us everything we wanted to know about the foods. For appetizers, I had the carpaccio, it had a really good flavor with lemon juice, fancy pepper and salt for only 12$. I ordered the prosciutto pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had with amazing seasoning. An overall...
