Punta Conterie — Restaurant in Venice

I highly recommend Vetri at Punta Conterie if you are looking for high quality service in a lovely atmosphere and have an appreciation for culinary arts. My sister and I stayed on Murano for a few days at the end of November 2019. I’m a huge foodie and we had dined at several great places throughout the trip. We were greeted warmly upon arrival at Vetri; the staff was very pleasant. However, we were somewhat hesitant about what to expect because the restaurant only opened a few months prior and we had the place to ourselves. Nonetheless, I can confidently say we hit the jackpot; it was my favorite meal of the trip. We did the full tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented with unique flavor profiles and combinations. The main dessert course is one of the best I’ve ever had. The service staff was friendly, professional, and attentive without being over-bearing; they really made the experience special. They were kind enough to open the gallery to us after our meal, despite it being after closing time, so we could view the works of Lino that were on display. After a day of traveling to Murano we went out to look for a light dinner. First restaurant we tried had already closed the kitchen, but the waiter suggested to continue round the corner to restaurant Vetri, which turned out to be a really nice place. This place is stunning. Wonderful ambience, incredible service - and the food is out of this world. If you're in Venice, its worth a trip across the water.
