In short. Don't visit! Firstly very incompetent and rude staff. Heard a chuckle when we said we don't want a bottle of wine for 50euro and we will rather have water. Total disrespect. Secondly portions are small and you would expect that from a higher end restaurant but oh boy no, this is not THAT place. Portions are small, food is bad quality, tasteless, look of food is also unappealing. Pork cutlet was small, thin. Worth 5euro max, but costs 18.. Fried seafood was like bits and pieces of somebody's leftovers, super dry, small and really just nothing to eat from what is there in the picture, worth 8euro maximum not 16... More like a snack than main course . Super overpriced for quality and service. As everybody around says it is total tourist trap. They took away plates before we finished when we were just hanging out and taking it slow without asking are you finished. I thought that was rude. Third, they try to scam you with prices and do not bother to care, asking where you are from before you sit down seems to somehow make them decide how much you will pay or if you are educated enough to understand they gonna rip some money from you. They count in without saying anything 6euro per person for services?? And then we got higher price bill, good thing I can read, and told them to count again, because we know how much the cost was. He did not say sorry. As I said. DO NOT GO HERE. waste of money, you will leave hungry unless you eat all bread they give on the side while you wait for dry, tasteless food. Having last dinner there was a total regret.. This restaurant in general is a shame of Italian cuisine.

An Unforgettable Venetian experience- If you find yourself in Venice and want a truly authentic Italian dining experience, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Armando and his incredible staff, who treated us like family rather than customers. The atmosphere is cozy and full of character, with walls lined with rustic decor and shelves of vintage bottles that make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The hospitality here is unmatched—Armando goes out of his way to make sure everyone feels at home, offering genuine recommendations and sharing stories that give you a real sense of Venetian culture. The food was outstanding. Every dish was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and prepared with love. From the perfectly cooked pasta to the rich, flavorful sauces, every bite was a reminder of why Italian cuisine is so revered. Even the simplest plates were elevated by the kitchen’s attention to detail. What made the experience truly special was the warmth of the staff. You could tell they take great pride in what they do, and their passion shines through in every interaction. By the end of the evening, we were laughing, sharing limoncello, and feeling like we had discovered a home away from home. If you’re looking for an unforgettable meal and genuine Venetian hospitality, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. Thank you to Armando and the entire team for a night we will always remember.

Overall, our dining experience at this restaurant was terrible. First of all, the service attitude of the shop staff is extremely bad, and the quality is low. When we said we don't need to order more food, the waiter directly hit the seasoning bottle on our table, and the subsequent voice is very big, attitude is very impolite, after our feedback food tastes bad, the waiter asked a "are you Chinese" after sneer, people feel very uncomfortable. Second, the food tastes very bad, even scary. The pizza crust is frozen from the supermarket, very little cheese, the salad vegetables are not handled clean, throw the food to the ground, not even the pigeons don’t want to eat. Third, the fees of restaurants are very unreasonable. Every bad food has a different price, and an extra service charge. After asking the restaurant owner, the answer was that 12 euros was paid for tables and chairs, utensils, napkins, and our unopened cookies. Finally, I sincerely advise you tourists friends not to come to this restaurant for dinner!

Sat down here to eat with my family for lunch. Was immediately pressured to order their specials along with appetizers, etc. Initially said I would take the bruschetta but then told him I changed my mind- ordered only two pizzas instead. Another waitstaff comes out with the bruschetta and I tell her no, that I had changed my mind about that. She looks confused, stands there over us and then refers to our original waiter. I explain to them the situation. He immediately says “But you’ll pay” I tell him that I am not paying for a mistake that he had made. Then mutters to us how “that’s not good.” I then ask if that was the type of business that he was trying to run. He then states “okay, okay, never mind.” The entire time he and the other waitstaff are talking in Italian clearly about us over approximately a 10 euro appetizer. We stayed and ate our food, which was actually decent, but ignored us after we paid and left the table. Checked the bill to make sure that he hadn’t charged us for the appetizer. He didn’t. Even before the mishap had occurred, the entire time he’s aggressively trying to solicit patrons walking by which already dampened the mood. Aggressive waiters/proprietors are equivalent to the street merchants who literally try to shove their products in your face. It cheapens the feel and ambience of the establishment. The waiter, listed in my experience, already has his photo posted on past reviews. Like I said, food was decent enough, I’ll give them credit for that but the hustling and the unprofessionalism is enough to...
