Started off well enough but went downhill from there. Sat in the back assuming because we have small kids, all good we don’t mind being by ourselves considering. After server brings all of our app items out, he proceeds to go on break and sit and eat and watch videos loudly at pretty much the next table over from us. Just him and us and his loud vids. Not just one, but more than few loud videos and it seems like it will continue. I complain to the boss and servers near him because it’s obviously disrespectful and unprofessional, his English is not great and neither is my Italian, some confusion ensues, but apologies are eventually given to us and the server moves after trying to justify it - which is a punk move but it’s kinda all good. However a moment later I can hear him talk about us in Italian to a colleague that asks what’s up and basically he says something along the lines of American tourist etc. who knows exactly but I can tell he is complaining about us and now I am heated a bit and the bread is stale, caprese is simply not good, and the shrimps we ordered with lemon and oil ain’t hitting at all. I tell the boss and some others about the bread for example and they tell me the center is still moist and they just bought it today - the boss comes out with all the loaves they just bought to show me it’s new bread in an act of theater. But I know stale bread, it gets leathery and chewy at the crust and is hard to tear plus I eat great bread all the time without complaint. I want to leave now which I do. The location is easy to find if you use google map. Otherwise it is quite hard because venice have lots of small alleys. But not too far from st marc or fendi store.
The food I was with my husband here for lunch. We had the spaghetti vongole and he had fettucini with crab meat. I forgot the name. Both of them taste super delicious. Really tasty!
They gave us breads with vinegar and olive oil before the food came. The bread taste nice.
Spaghetti vongole chewy and light texture. Exactly what i like. The cream was superb. It taste light and not too creamy. 1 big plate consist of lots clams. So i think it is enough ratio between clams and the spaghetti. if you like more salty, give a bit of parmesan cheese or if you like spicy, they also have chilli flakes.
Fettucini crab meat fettucini is well cooked. Not too soft. My husband like it so much, the crab meat was generous. The cream a bit tomato-ey so expect a bit of redness. taste fresh because the mini tomato is a nice combi with the fettucini and crab. A bit more salty than the vongole but very nice.
Desserts We order tiramisu. It is one of the best tiramisu o've ever had. Especially if you have sweet tooth. And the portion is generous. Big portion for 2 if you both only want to try a bit.
The price For these kind of food, the prices are much cheaper than the cafe next to or around that are. With that big portion, and delicious taste. It is worth every penny.
Overall We are very happy with the food. I really recommend this place for a taste of italian food....

Don’t let this 4,4 star review fool you, this is another turist trap such as most affordable places in Venezia! The first red flag I had, was that in the menu it said the food MAY NOT FRESH. At first I thought it was strange and a really bad indicator of quality. For a restaurant where most plates cost +20€, the food SHOULD BE fresh, when you request +20€ for a service/food, I am expecting top notch service and quality food or medium food but with a ambience/ view that shall justify the price( that is not the case for this restaurant). After ordering, what proceeded was an authentic shitshow: the gnocchi with bolognese sauce was in a terrible, tasteless and greasy sauce, the kind where you cooked it yesterday and the tomato pulp just separates from the greasy of the olive oil and beef fat, from siring a longggg time in a kitchen. Not to mention the plate was not evenly hot, so probably the microwave was probably used to heat it, what could explain then the heterogeneous sauce (when you use the pan the sauce ends up mixing up again)…. Then the lamb, it was 32€ with a side dish of vegetables of 8€ with a bit of scam: not only was it tasteless, but expensive. The meat harder than rubber, the sprouts that once were green were totally yellow and probably from a few days ago. DO NOT GO HERE, IF YOU WANT TO EAT TERRIBLY JUST ASK YOUR BOYFRIEND TO COOK...
