Simple, but delicious food like a grilled fish or cooked shrimp. As far as I can tell, local and very fresh. For sure not frozen and carried around the world. Presentation is honest, no fuzz. If you love original taste then you are in the perfect place. Wine? One red, one white. That’s it. The white was excellent and just right for a weekday lunch. I give 5 stars because everything was so tasty. No distraction on the plate. When in Venice, do as the Venice folks do and go to Trattoria Ai Frati. The experience is spectacular with regard to every little detail of a 5 star restaurant. Silverware and plate positioning was a constant. I mean these people really are on their toes. 5 courses we had and each with an outstanding presentation. Very nice place, with a enjoyable terrace like a deck showing a wonders of murano, a mature men super friendly making service (completely the opposite to a jung lady who is very rude and ignoring completely to who ever she feels) I eated the pulpo salad, was wonderfully cooked, absolutely delicious...almost 100%recomendable (the exception is the rude person, that probably is not always there and if you are lucky ...)
