B Restaurant alla Vecchia Pescheria — Restaurant in Venice

We stopped in for a later lunch around 2:30p on a Saturday afternoon in late September & wanted to eat on the patio. All the tables outside were full but there were some open inside. But we waited about 5 mins for one outside to open up. We had the bolognese, the pomodoro, and the chefs special which was a spiral pasta with seafood & a cream sauce & surprisingly blueberries?! Complimentary limoncello shots finished up a lovely lunch. Everything was very good & service was quick. The patio could have benefited from a few fans on this 80 degree day - even though it was pleasant & breezy on the patio, the sun was beating on a nearby wall, radiating onto the diners, making me wonder if they had heaters on!...

Our 1st night on Murano Island in Venice. The concierge at our hotel reccomended B restaurant. We had walked by the area earlier at decided to walk back and give the restaurant a shot. The food was fantastic and the service even better. We had seafood and pasta dishes we shared between 2 couples. Everyone loved everything. The waiter recommended a local bottle of red wine and we loved it. The Caprese salad was to die for. The only downside was my wife and I couldn't finish our meal, we were so full so we didn't have the opportunity to try their deserts. If you are in Venice this is a place that locals go to but they treat tourists like they are family too. Can't wait to go back and eat...

Yeah, all good here.

I feel a little churlish only offering four stars because it was better than that, but the base on my pizza could have been slightly better, so it couldn't be five.

This is a nice place run by good attentive staff. They were all really helpful band there were lots of them about.

Drinks were slightly on the expensive side, but not out of the way.

Oh yeah, I don't know if it was my phone or not but there was no WiFi to be had, a bit carp when your on your lonesome. Poor me, struggling around Venice.

It's tough but somebody has to do it.
