Popped by this place as it look local. However, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth literally and it seems like it is not new as another review also mentioned similar issue where the issue was blamed to the guest.

We ordered 2 main and 1 starter, overall the food is really not great as compared to the other meals we had tried in Venice but it is decent. However, be prepared to wait for super long for the dish to arrive.

Anyway what went wrong was the service, another guest with bagpack brushed across my full glass of aperol spritz on the table it fell to the floor and broke.

The server behind them immediately turned to me saying I had put the glass on the floor. At the time, I seriously thought it was a joke and she would replace my drink because who put their drink on the floor when we had space on the table? She also consoled the other guest who broke the glass that it is not his fault. On hindsight, this should have been the warning sign.

We waited awhile and they did not replace my drink, thinking it was forgotten so we told another server to give us another aperol spritz.

At the end, after the meal we were charged for the “extra” aperol spritz and had to feedback to the same server that we are not paying the initial aperol spritz that broke. She insisted I had put the glass on the floor and the additional glass was not a replacement. This persisted until the guest who accidentally broke the cocktail spoke up and verified the accident. Then she sighed and went to redo the bill. By then the damage is done, from the slow serving time required when the restaurant is not full house, to the subpar meal and then getting blamed that the I had purposely put the glass on the floor so it broke?! Avoid this place is u can as the dining experience is completely awful.

You may wish to visit another restaurant opposite called marine something, looks really good with murano glass beverages and smelled flavourful as...

Awful people & experience. We sat at a table outside in the shade, a lovely French couple next to us were sat in the sun next to the canal and said they were leaving so we should move to their table, so we did. The staff’s response was astoundingly bad, multiple staff asked ‘why we would do such a thing’, slammed glasses down, one lady came and shouted at us in Italian, you would honestly think we’d committed a horrendous crime. Fair enough the table was not yet cleared but it’s a busy time and people were waiting to jump into seats, and we didn’t want to miss the chance that the couple had given us for seats in the sun! We don’t mind being tidied around or asked to stand back up and to one side to let them do what they need, but instead they were incredibly hostile and unnecessarily rude. There are plenty of places in Murano to eat and drink in gorgeous surroundings, don’t choose this one, find somewhere more welcoming...

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to warrant one.

The food was honestly below average. The pasta was overcooked and bland, lacking any real flavor, and the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can. We also ordered a steak that was supposed to be medium-rare—it came out well-done and dry. Even the side dishes felt like an afterthought: soggy fries and a limp salad.

Service didn’t make things any better. Our server seemed uninterested from the moment we walked in—no greeting, no smile. We waited nearly 30 minutes just to place our order, and getting anyone’s attention after that was like pulling teeth. When we politely mentioned the issues with the food, we were met with a shrug and no attempt to make things right.

All in all, this place felt like it had given up. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal or a pleasant...

Not happy at all. The carpaccio was not raw - contrary to what your expectation from Google or every other restaurant might be. Instead, it was saturated in salt, smoke and looked a bit old (because of discolouring). Something you can buy in your local grocery shop and arrange around the plate. The seafood pasta had so much oil, the U.S. was trying to invade it. And the fried squid looks like something you'd expect from KFC (if they served it), not a restaurant. To make it worse, the service kept forgetting we were here. I asked for Tabasco and they forgot. We also didn't get bread and had to ask for it. The place is basically a diner, not a restaurant. Don't be fooled by the beautiful exterior. For the price they charge, I expected restaurant-quality food. Not KFC or something I can buy from a local grocer.

I'm posting this out of annoyance after reading some of the low reviews. We went this afternoon and it was lovely. The food is great - we got a mixed carpaccio and some octopus to start and tagliatelle with ragu/scampi and mushrooms respectively for our mains. The waitresses made jokes and were fun/spunky and so nice. The table along the canal was lovely. The prices are perfectly reasonable; had wine and mineral water with the meal and the whole thing was under €60, like come on. We had a similar experience across the canal the evening before and it has the same similar low reviews (along with plenty of nice ones too). I don't know if it's a game to people to complain but I can't think of a valid grievance. Just go here or any nearby places and enjoy yourself, it's a meal and a good one at that.

Was seated and waited over 75 minutes for food. Watched two groups that were seated after us get served similar orders (two items, including a calamari) , so not sure what happened there. Had to flag down a waiter and demand them to check on our food, and it was still a while longer before we saw anything. Server was barely apologetic. Paid full price obviously. Food was ok. Definitely skip the calamari, it kind of sucks. Seafood spaghetti was good, but not enough to cure the anger incurred by the terrible service Wish we slammed down €3 for the fruit juice we got and walked off instead of waiting so long for our food
