We picked up three types of bigoli from Bepe Bigoi in Verona to take with us on the road as we left Italy and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our trip. We tried the Amatriciana, the duck sauce (Anatra) and the pesto - each one delicious in its own way.

The bigoli itself is something special: thick, slightly crunchy in that satisfying, oily, rich kind of way that makes each bite a real pleasure. Me and my girlfriend were at that place. I took bolognese and she took alla norma. Once she started eating she found a weird thing inside which look like a stone. When we showed the food to the staff. They said it’s a duck bone, which went there accidentally. Because the sauces are next to each other. They said sorry and tried to replace it with the SAME SAUCE and could not give our money back....
