We had a wonderful experience dining at this charming restaurant in Verona. The food was truly delicious — especially the sandwiches, which were fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. It’s the perfect spot for a quick bite or a relaxed meal.
What makes this place truly unique, however, is its atmosphere. The restaurant is not just a place to eat — it's a journey through time. The décor is full of nostalgic details that blend history with modern charm: vintage photos, old wine bottles, sewing machine chairs, and even tables made from antique sewing machines. Every corner tells a story.
It feels like stepping into an old Italian home, where past and present meet in the most beautiful way. You don’t just taste Italy here — you feel it.
The location is also excellent — easy to reach from the city center and close to many main attractions. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant offers more than a meal: it offers a moment of connection with Italian heritage, served with care and creativity.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food, meaningful spaces, and a touch...
Read moreWe noticed this place by firstly spotting the meats on display in the window. We then realised that they offered what looked to be mouth-watering sandwiches and soon after that, we saw the outside, upstairs tables overlooking the square. Heaven! We excitedly went in, went upstairs and sat on the table we wanted. The friendly waitress came up and chatted a bit with us, taking our order. Then our food arrived. I nearly wept with happiness... Soft but sturdy bread was the housing of a beautifully built, perfectly balanced, flavoursome sandwich. I chose the number 9 which had truffle gorgonzola and ham and be warned, the sandwiches are big. Not a problem for me though, I happily polished it off while my partner was stoked for her plentiful salad. All this whilst people watching on a beautiful day in the square. Perfect. So good, we went back again. Thanks guys, we are...
Read moreI had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant in Verona. Located in a beautiful, lively, and touristy square, the restaurant stands out for its high-quality food, far from the usual tourist traps. I enjoyed a fantastic cheese and charcuterie board along with burrata, paired with a glass of wine – everything was absolutely extraordinary! The quality of the products was superb, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the experience.
Initially, I noticed a table in the back but felt it was too isolated. I asked if I could wait for another spot, and they kindly seated me at a temporary table. In the end, they let me stay there, and the service was just right – friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
The food is truly amazing, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality dining...
