Pasticceria Flego — Restaurant in Verona

Whilst the decor might not be to everybody’s taste - there’s a lot of cheap pink neon that sits uneasily amongst the ever so slightly clashing other pinks - someone some where has put a lot of thought to if.

Given that , it is surprising that the vibe is one that clearly resents customers.

Led by the surliest pretty boy you can imagine behind the bar my whole visit was clearly a great trouble to him.

Ignored to begin with, sullen grunts eventually, a questioning of my order, ( a Negroni and some water - not difficult) and eventually drinks slammed down on the table.

Obviously deeply unhappy in his work, I hope he finds something else soon.

On the bright side, and I expect not unrelated, in a packed July Verona, the cafe was almost empty and it was lovely to be somewhere so untroubled...

This the third Lego location in Verona, and a 30 second walk to Piazza Bra. Well located wherever you may be staying. The usual excellent coffee, and wonderful selection of pastries which are a Flego hallmark. Service is excellent, its enthusiastic and multilingual staff. The cabinets contain several vegan options so there is a taste for everyone. Its a smaller location than the other two, and due to its design is not as "Cozy" There are large open windows so there is plenty of ventilation, and light but with no seating outside (via Roma) its not as open as the flagship. store. Definitely a good place to stop if you need a refreshment. Lascio una recensione negativa per una brutta esperienza avuta ieri sera dopo aver usufruito del servizio Too Good To Go. Per chi non lo conoscesse è un'app con un concetto bellissimo: combattere lo spreco alimentare dando una seconda vita al cibo invenduto. Ho avuto esperienze molto positive in passato con altri esercizi, ma purtroppo ieri sera con Flego a Verona ho avuto una brutta sorpresa.

Ho acquistato una Magic Box e ho ricevuto un cabaret di frittelle con creme varie, ma tutte le creme erano evidentemente acide e avariate. È inaccettabile trasformare un'idea così bella in un’occasione di lucro sui prodotti che sarebbero da buttare, specialmente quando si parla di alimenti che possono diventare pericolosi per la salute come creme e uova.

Per fortuna ho assaggiato prima di servire ai miei ospiti: immaginate il rischio per chi non fosse stato così attento! Non si tratta solo di delusione, ma di sicurezza alimentare. Questo è un comportamento vergognoso e contrario allo spirito di Too Good To Go.
