We wanted to have a quick bite before we head home on our last night here in Verona. We passed by this restaurant, checked the pizza menu, and the price it looks acceptable. The restaurant is clean with bright read feature wall color. The layout of this shop is special as the kitchen is the first thing that you’ll see when you enter. 😅
But anyways, we ordered pizza Piemonte. It was OK. The first bite was good, tastes very special and uncommon for us. However as I go for the next pizza slices i got easily tired of eating it. As it became bland. I wish they could have added more beef sausage as it gave a bit of saltiness and highlight on the pizza. The basil gave some freshness too.
I do appreciate them breaking the pizza into 2 and serving it to us in diff plate.

Read moreWe ordered bruschetta as an antipasti, twice with ham and once with tomatoes. The two variations were very tasty and well-rounded. For the main course, we ordered different pizzas. The dough is like in Napolitan pizzas. Very soft and crispy at the same time. It could hardly be better. The bottom was just right, not too thin and not too thick. The dough is also well salted and therefore very flavoursome. All the pizzas were good, but you should be careful when choosing because a few pizzas were without tomato sauce. The menu should have been read better, it wasn't obvious to us. No problem, because the pizzas without tomato sauce were also delicious. However, the pizzas with tomato sauce were definitely better. We had a bottle of white wine to drink, which was also very decent. All in all, the pizzeria can be recommended. You can feel the passion...
Read moreOrdered two pizzas take away which we enjoyed back at our apartment. While waiting inside the restaurant we saw a female server drop a half order of pizza on the floor by the bakers counter. She picked it up and put it back on the plate and left it on the counter together with active orders waiting to be served, while she wipe off the mess of the pizza on the floor.
The dropped pizza should have been thrown out right away.
Later that same half pizza was reheated and served again. Yes we should have said something but there were many people around. But it really bothered us. We really felt so bad for the person who ordered the pizza. We even thought of telling her to refuse the order. Why not just throw out the pizza? We closely observed our pizza being prepared; no issues there.
But we won't be coming...
